That was old bug, surprised they didn't fix it yet.

We’ve been looking into issues surrounding Saved Games and Checkpoints in Campaign that can end a player’s session and bring them to the Xbox One Dashboard. This issue can be resolved by restarting the mission from the beginning.
We apologize for the inconvenience, and are working on a fix for this item.

You might have to check the forums if that don't.

Microsoft will use Forza 7, Battlefront 2 and Red Dead Redemption 2 to showcase 4K on 'Project Scorpio' Xbox (exclusive)

We recently received a partial list of planned 4K titles for the next Xbox, dubbed "Project Scorpio," and we're now able to fully confirm its authenticity.

Microsoft will unveil Forza Motorsport 7 as the headline title for Project Scorpio in the next few weeks, and it will run at a blistering True 4K resolution. We've heard reports from reliable sources that the game, in true Forza fashion, already looks utterly stunning, and will showcase just what the console is capable of.

Our list comes from marketing materials that include titles Microsoft wants to use to exemplify Project Scorpio's six-teraflops (TF), True-4K capabilities. And it naturally includes several first-party titles, such as the aforementioned Forza 7, Crackdown 3, and State of Decay 2. But it also contains a few heavy-hitting, third-party titles.

The list includes some fairly obvious games, such as "Call of Duty", FIFA, and Madden, but also Battlefront 2, and Red Dead Redemption 2. It seems that each of these games will appear on Project Scorpio with a 4K resolution.

Battlefront 2 is effectively a no-brainer, considering the representatives of the game's developer, DICE, appeared in the trailer for Project Scorpio at E3 2016. But Red Dead Redemption 2 is a little less expected, and should prove a huge boost to the console's third-party credibility.

Additionally, it appears that Scorpio will have a sizeable library of 4K games out of the box, due to the "change resilience" features we outlined recently. Games that use dynamic 900p to 1080p resolution scaling on Xbox One (reducing visual quality to remain stable during intensive scenes) will be able to scale all the way up to 4K on Project Scorpio. This should give Project Scorpio the content it needs to be a worthy purchase proposition as soon as it goes on sale in the during the holiday season of 2017.

When you combine this with the 4K supersampling for 1080p TVs we discussed in a previous article, 4K Game DVR and streaming, it seems like Scorpio is going to bring a very broad array of benefits to gamers of all types. Microsoft is clearly keen on driving home Project Scorpio as a high-value proposition, with a feature set that will help it shrug off accusations of being a mere "Xbox One.5."

I downloaded it yesterday. It's a good looking game but overall it's repetitive as hell. Not to mention the duplicated characters.

it is...I was watching rome and spartacus when I played this game so that made it more exciting for me

OT but dark souls is insane as shit...only played the first 5 minutes but this shit jump straight into the fire...no pun intended

They could improve Ryse IMO by making Ryse a RPG game like The Witcher. That shit would be dope as fuck. Let me collect resources, troops to build an army. Or let me build a team like in Mass Effect 2. Switch the story up, make him a gladiator. That shit would be like the Spartacus TV show. Let me liberate a ludus and pick up some gladiators for my team lol.

But Crytek is making it, so the story will suck lol. Monolith Productions could pull it off.

BioWare details upcoming Mass Effect: Andromeda patch

As most people know by now even if they have yet to play it, Mass Effect: Andromeda released in an unpolished state, with numerous bugs and performance issues marring the experience for many players. BioWare General Manager Aaryn Flynn has released a statement detailing fixes that players can expect this Thursday in a patch. The full statement can be read below.

Hi everyone,

It’s been two weeks since the launch of Mass Effect: Andromeda and we’re thankful to the millions of you who have already joined us on this journey. And though the game is now in your hands, it’s really just the beginning.

Since launch, our team has been poring over your comments and feedback, looking to discover what you like about the game, as well as areas we can evolve or improve.

This Thursday, we’ll release a new patch that addresses technical fixes (crashes, improved performance), but also adds a number of improvements we’ve heard you ask for, such as:

• Allowing you to skip ahead when travelling between planets in the galaxy map
• Increasing the inventory limits
• Improving the appearance of eyes for humans and asari characters
• Decreasing the cost of remnant decryption keys and making them more accessible at merchants
• Improving localized voice over lip sync
• Fixing Ryder’s movements when running in a zig zag pattern
• Improving matchmaking and latency in multiplayer

There are many more adjustments being made, all of which you can find in our
patch notes.

Over the next two months we’ll be rolling out additional patches which will go even deeper and look to improve several areas of the game:

• More options and variety in the character creator
• Improvements to hair and general appearance for characters
• Ongoing improvements to cinematic scenes and animations
• Improvements to male romance options for Scott Ryder
• Adjustments to conversations with Hainly Abrams

These upcoming patches will also address performance and stability issues. And we’re looking at adding more cosmetic items to single player for free.

For multiplayer, over the same timeframe, we’re going to continue to build on the APEX missions that have been running since launch. We’ll be adding new maps, characters, and weapons. On Thursday, we kick off the first of three new chapters centered around The Remnant Investigation.

This is just a taste of what’s in store as we continue to support Mass Effect: Andromeda. And as always, you all play an important role in that. We want to hear from you about your experiences, both what you love about the game and what you’d like to see changed. We’re listening, and we’re committed to partnering with you as we continue to explore the Andromeda galaxy together.

Here’s to a great journey,

Aaryn
