Rockstar also need to get on announcing the PC version of GTA V..

Take-Two head Strauss Zelnick further confirms that the company intends to continue two of its most high-profile franchises.

Gamespot obtained quotes from Zelnick's presentation at an analyst conference earlier this week, and his comments contained good news for gamers.

Of the Red Dead series, he said, "I pretty much know the ones that I can assure you are permanent. It's obvious that GTA is a permanent franchise as long as we keep delivering this incredible quality; it seems quite obvious that Red Dead is a permanent franchise."

He also affirmed the company's commitment to BioShock, a series that's future has been a bit more hazy since the closing of Irrational Games, the studio that created the franchise.

Zelnick said, "We haven't given any color on how you should think about it yet except we do believe it's beloved; we think it's important [and] certainly something that we're focused on; something 2K Marin will be responsible for shepherding going forward. I don't want to say much else except to agree with you. I think there's a lot of upside in that franchise."

Our Take:
Given that Red Dead Redemption has sold over 13 million copies, it probably shouldn't be surprising that it's going to be coming back. However, this does give more fuel to my hope that the new game will be unveiled at this year's E3. The BioShock comments are comforting, I've been concerned that it might be on the shelf following the closing of Irrational.

They need a big exclusive to pay for it to be timed. But what has been off the radar. Hmmmmm. Maybe Left 4 Dead if it's a timed console exclusive. Splinter Cell wouldn't make an impact. Interesting.

Assassin%E2%80%99s-Creed-5-Unity-pre-order-bonus.jpg

Ubisoft have been extremely quiet about the next entry into the Assassin’s Creed franchise. Titled Unity, the latest iteration in the long running franchise will be available later this year for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. Assassin’s Creed Unity takes place during the French Revolution and that is all we know about it. But finally we have some new details about the protagonist and some of the pre-order bonuses.

The image leaked by Twitter user CriptAssassini clearly shows the new Assassin in action along with some historical figure. The poster also mentions Chemical Revolution Business as one of the pre-order bonuses. Apparently there will be two bonuses, it’s a shame that the other one is not clear in the image above.

Take this with a grain of salt until you hear it officially from Ubisoft. What are your thoughts about this? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below and stay tuned for more news and updates.

Several details may have been revealed in regards to the upcoming rumored video game, “Fallout 4,” being exclusive to the Xbox One. According to a post from the NeoGAF forum on May 24, a user claimed that there has been some industry chatter around Bethesda Softworks signing a deal with Microsoft. As a result, “Fallout 4” could end up being one of the 15 exclusive titles that are being planned for release within the first year of the next-generation system’s lifespan. You can take a look at some screens from the predecessor, “Fallout 3,” in the slideshow at the top of this article.

The aforementioned Bethesda Softworks is the company that will be responsible for publishing “Fallout 4.” They previously handled the releases for “Fallout 3” and “Fallout: New Vegas.” The potential exclusive deal wouldn’t be the first between Bethesda Softworks and Microsoft as the two previously teamed up for the timed exclusive releases of the expansion packs for “The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.”

“Fallout 4” currently does not have an official release date.

The Forza article on IGN is almost at 8,000 comments. If they get Fallout, there will be 1 million comments on a single article.

What's this like the first demo since launch?...

Why so many comments on Forza? Am I missing something?

IGN is Console War Ground Zero. Sony Ponies like to hate on anything for the XBox more than showing love for Sony exclusives. An article for the media remote hit 1000 comments in an hour. Yes......a media remote.

The only thing I can suggest is to go back and play some games that you might have skipped over.

I don't think that's going to happen this year. It's hard to leave that 80 million install base for the 360 and PS3

Plus the rumors of Batman & Quantum Break getting delayed pop up every week now.

Check and check :smh:

While rumors of the disappointing news has been spreading around the Internet for a while now, the developers at Rocksteady have officially confirmed the 2015 delay of Batman: Arkham Knight, the fourth entry into the Batman Arkham franchise.
However, new details on the Batmobile and the role it plays in gameplay was also given. The trademark vehicle will have an awesome “Battle Mode” that fully decks it out in armor and machine guns. But before you ask, no you can’t use these upgrades to kill humans, since that’s of course against Batman’s own moral code.

Rocksteady even has certain precautions to prevent this as Batman equips the Batmobile with different rounds for his foes: high-impact armaments for mechanical foes, stun rounds for humans. Also, any human foes approaching the Batmobile on foot are flung back with the line of tasers surrounding it.

You can watch the trailer for the mode below, which fully details the weapons.

HUNT: Horrors of the Gilded Age Announce Trailer

Crytek's second unveiling in as many days is Hunt: Horrors of the Gilded Age, a four-player action game that combines the prosperous industrialization of the late 19th century with pistols, crossbows and a likely bestiary of beasties. Also noteworthy is the developer, Crytek USA, the studio largely formed by ex-employees of Darksiders studio Vigil Games.

The third-person game focuses on a band of player hunters seeking out enemy creatures, and it sounds like there are survival horror element to the gameplay, reminiscent of Valve's Left 4 Dead. Crytek's Hunt also has a "special content generation system" which promises no two enemy encounters or environments will be the same.

Crytek says Hunt is coming to "PC and consoles" with closed beta testing on PC later this year. The company also notes it's part of its nebulous "Games as a Service" program. So is Arena of Fate, and that's confirmed to be free-to-play.

"In Hunt: Horrors of the Gilded Age, players will be counting their bullets and crying out for help as they delve deeper into the shadowy world we've created," said David Adams CEO of Crytek USA and former CEO of Vigil Games. "From the outset of the development process, we've poured our imaginations into the game so that everyone who plays Hunt will discover a challenging experience that feels fresh, captivating and rich in possibilities."

Dumb shit.
I used to frequent the boards over there for years, when it was n64.com.
After a few guys left and a few design changes, I just go over there every one in a while.

But that site has always been fanboy wars. Nintendo fans are treated like battered stepchildren while the XBOX/PS fans were the worst.
Nothing has changed. :smh:

Murdered: Soul Suspect Review's

kotaku - no

Joystiq - 3.5/5

That said, the mystery at the heart of Murdered really is excellent, and putting the pieces together crime scene by crime scene should satisfy many an armchair sleuth. The hidden ghost stories are well worth finding, and though Ronan is a bit of a dull fish, the people who surround him are worth getting to know, however briefly. With some truly great ideas and some unfortunate choices, Murdered: Soul Suspect and its ghostly hero is neither heaven nor hell, but something in between.

IGN - 5.5

Gamesrader 2.5/5

It's really sad that Murdered: Soul Suspect fails to fulfil its promise. There are some interesting characters and plot-lines, as well as some really great visuals (depending on what or who you're looking at), but the game's strengths are haunted by mediocre gameplay and substandard production values. You won't feel any smarter having solved Soul Suspect's mystery, nor will you feel tested by its combat. Perhaps it's a blessing that most will quickly forget this game and get on with their lives.

CVG - 5/10

There's space in this genre to be sure - only LA Noire has come close to presenting an engaging, police-based, modern point-and-click adventure - but any new contenders need to pay far more attention to the actual police work underpinning them. Without doing so the conclusion we'll keep deducing is that crime may not pay, but it sure is tedious to bring to justice.
