Take-Two head Strauss Zelnick further confirms that the company intends to continue two of its most high-profile franchises.
Gamespot obtained quotes from Zelnick's presentation at an analyst conference earlier this week, and his comments contained good news for gamers.
Of the Red Dead series, he said, "I pretty much know the ones that I can assure you are permanent. It's obvious that GTA is a permanent franchise as long as we keep delivering this incredible quality; it seems quite obvious that Red Dead is a permanent franchise."
He also affirmed the company's commitment to BioShock, a series that's future has been a bit more hazy since the closing of Irrational Games, the studio that created the franchise.
Zelnick said, "We haven't given any color on how you should think about it yet except we do believe it's beloved; we think it's important [and] certainly something that we're focused on; something 2K Marin will be responsible for shepherding going forward. I don't want to say much else except to agree with you. I think there's a lot of upside in that franchise."

Our Take:
Given that Red Dead Redemption has sold over 13 million copies, it probably shouldn't be surprising that it's going to be coming back. However, this does give more fuel to my hope that the new game will be unveiled at this year's E3. The BioShock comments are comforting, I've been concerned that it might be on the shelf following the closing of Irrational.

The Forza article on IGN is almost at 8,000 comments. If they get Fallout, there will be 1 million comments on a single article.

Why so many comments on Forza? Am I missing something?
Damn Murdered Soul Suspect got a 5.5 rating what the FUCK is going on in this so called New Generation. This is some real bullshit. This is unbelievable. Everything is delayed and they shitting out hot garbage.
I don't think that's going to happen this year. It's hard to leave that 80 million install base for the 360 and PS3
Plus the rumors of Batman & Quantum Break getting delayed pop up every week now.
IGN is Console War Ground Zero. Sony Ponies like to hate on anything for the XBox more than showing love for Sony exclusives. An article for the media remote hit 1000 comments in an hour. Yes......a media remote.

That said, the mystery at the heart of Murdered really is excellent, and putting the pieces together crime scene by crime scene should satisfy many an armchair sleuth. The hidden ghost stories are well worth finding, and though Ronan is a bit of a dull fish, the people who surround him are worth getting to know, however briefly. With some truly great ideas and some unfortunate choices, Murdered: Soul Suspect and its ghostly hero is neither heaven nor hell, but something in between.
It's really sad that Murdered: Soul Suspect fails to fulfil its promise. There are some interesting characters and plot-lines, as well as some really great visuals (depending on what or who you're looking at), but the game's strengths are haunted by mediocre gameplay and substandard production values. You won't feel any smarter having solved Soul Suspect's mystery, nor will you feel tested by its combat. Perhaps it's a blessing that most will quickly forget this game and get on with their lives.
There's space in this genre to be sure - only LA Noire has come close to presenting an engaging, police-based, modern point-and-click adventure - but any new contenders need to pay far more attention to the actual police work underpinning them. Without doing so the conclusion we'll keep deducing is that crime may not pay, but it sure is tedious to bring to justice.
