j0nathan, tweeted last week, a bunch of details from the next Assassin’s Creed title which he has from his source. Here’s a quick summary of what he said in his tweets:
Assassin’s Creed 2020 will be Vikings
It won’t be called ‘Kingdom’ or ‘Ragnarok.’
The Hidden Blade and Shield will return.
The main character should be a woman, but players can still choose a man.
The main character’s name is not ‘Jora.’
Scandinavia won’t be the only territory in the game.
Will feature even more RPG elements than Assassin’s Creed Odyssey
Lots of Supernatural content related to the First Civilization.
The game won’t be Co-op.
The release is still planned by the end of 2020.
The official reveal is coming late-April or Early-May.
Main character is called Eivor - can be male or female. Customisable beards and tattoos.
Game is set predominantly in 9th Century England, but parts of Scandinavia will also be explorable.
Alfred the Great has a key role, most likely the game's main antagonist.
You will have a settlement similar to Monteriggioni in ACII.
The Raven is this game's stand in for Senu/Ikaros.
Naval combat won't be as prominent as Odyssesy or Black Flag, but there will boats used primarily for travel.
The article hints at them having found a way to write some of the more mythical elements of Norse culture into the established AC lore (as they did with Greek Mythology in Odyssesy).
