Xbox One Console Reviews

No the gaming sites don't always get it right, but both the sites and the players are saying the same shit. So im going to go off their opinion instead of listening to a fanboy that's upset that the game will not be on their platform.

And sorry to tell you this but every game coming out this year except for Quantum Break, will have a familiar twist to it. Your going to be waiting a long long time.

Looks like Call of Duty set far, far into the future made by the people that actually know how to put out an FPS that's worth a damn.. I'm down. The reviews are sounding great as well..

:smh: anybody that don't think that ya'll system of choice....and everybody that doesn't think that y'all games of choice has to is awesome be a Fanboy. I give up.

You should. Comparing a juggernaut killstreak to a titan, just doesn't make sense. And nitpicking every thing about a game or a system is something fanboys do. You should know that, just search the E3 thread. I know your history on here when it comes to these systems.

Sturmars BEEN riding Sony's jock.. I ain't forgot shit from that thread... Nigga swearing up and down he's impartial, but he's like a Sony Sleeper Cell and shit waiting for M$ to fuck up..

OK OK OK lets show some light for the sony fanboys ok .i mean youre not getting this titan fall but they did say part 2 will be mutiplatform.so sony fanboys you have to wait about 4yrs ok so cheer up,youre get there one day..

ONE DAY...

Oh I never said I wouldn't be getting it on XB1. Gaming sites always get it right? NO.

My thing is this NEXT GEN should mean NEXT GEN in every since of the word. We spending money on these consoles and games I want Next Gen experiences not something familiar with a twist. I'm holding game devs accountable too. Fuck that.

Curious. Have any of the current titles given you a next gen experience?

yo this is for the ones that think next gen should mean next gen.listen to this an you will understand why titan fall is the way it is,i mean it really makes alot of since..

All I know is that Dead Rising has a ridiculous number of on-screen zombies with a need to load a new section every two minutes like DR2. I'm not sure what everyone expects but Titanfall will have up to 48 people total running around a map. it's just that only 12 are human.

Dead Rising 3: Operation Broken Eagle Trailer Lets You Kill Zombies Like a Professional

Originally set to release in December, Dead Rising 3‘s first DLC Operation Broken Eagle has launched, bringing along with it a brand new trailer, which you can view below.

Operation Broken Eagle is the first episode of the “Untold Stories of Los Perdidos” and will be included as part of the Dead Rising 3′s season pass content. The content stars Spec Ops Commander Adam Kane, tasked with rescuing the President in the zombie-infested city of Los Peridos. Players will receive five extra weapons, one new combo weapon, another vehicle, and a new costume, and any XP earned during the DLC will be carried into the main campaign.

The only catch: to be able to play this DLC, Dead Rising 3 players will need to download the not-so-light 13 GB patch that was released yesterday, which comes with a number of fixes. But if you liked Dead Rising 3 as much as we did, then perhaps you won’t mind.

That patch was a monster. Had my daughter start it while I was away from home so that it would be ready for me. Fuckin Capcom

Report: Microsoft paying YouTube producers to highlight Xbox One

Microsoft allegedly made deals with Machinima video partners to pay them extra if they promoted the Xbox One, but only if those video producers kept the agreement confidential, reports Ars Technica.

Under the terms of the promotion — which Machinima's U.K. community manager highlighted in a now-deleted tweet — Microsoft would pay content producers a $3 CPM bonus (an extra $3 per thousand video views) if they posted a video with at least 30 seconds of Xbox One gameplay footage in the first two minutes, and verbally mentioned they were playing on an Xbox One. In order for the creators to get paid, the videos had to be labeled with the tag "XB1M13" and posted between 3 a.m. ET on Jan. 13 and 2:59 a.m. ET on Feb. 10.

However, Microsoft included the following stipulation in its agreement (viewable in full here): "You may not say anything negative or disparaging about Machinima, Xbox One or any of its games in your campaign video." And the campaign was set to end after a total of 1.25 million views across all XB1M13-tagged videos, which puts the maximum combined payout to video producers at $3,750. As of this writing, a search for YouTube videos with that tag posted in the past week turns up more than 400 results.

According to Ars Technica, Microsoft's confidentiality requirement may violate the U.S. Federal Trade Commission's guidelines for advertising that contains endorsements. "When there exists a connection between the endorser and the seller of the advertised product that might materially affect the weight or credibility of the endorsement (i.e., the connection is not reasonably expected by the audience), such connection must be fully disclosed," the guidelines state.

A private listing in Machinima's activity feed on Poptent, a site that helps content creators connect with companies like Machinima, indicates that the campaign began Jan. 14 and expired Jan. 16, so it's possible that the 1.25 million-view goal has already been reached. We've reached out to Microsoft and Machinima for comment, and will update this article with any information we receive.
