Microsoft and CD Projekt Red team up for an ultra-rare special edition console; one lucky contest winner will get to own it.
BOSTON--Yesterday at PAX East, Microsoft and CD Projekt Red announced a custom Xbox One console based on the upcoming open-world role-playing game The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Now, we know what it looks like, as the console is on display at Microsoft's booth on the show floor.
As you can see, the Witcher 3 console is metallic silver, featuring an image of series hero Geralt and the franchise logo. A special-edition Witcher 3 controller also comes with the bundle.
Only one Witcher 3 Xbox One console has been produced, and it will be given away to one lucky fan who wins a special PAX East contest. A variety of special-edition Xbox One controllers have also been revealed, but like the console, you'll need to win a contest to get one.
The Witcher 3, originally slated to launch in 2014, is now due to arrive May 19 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. For more, check out some of our favorite images in the gallery below.

Killer Instinct's newest character is a Japanese "ghost girl" named Hisako, and players will soon be able to play against virtual versions of themselves and their friends, developer Iron Galaxy Studios announced during a PAX East panel today.
"If you can't find the person you want to play at the skill level that you want, that makes the multiplayer experience a little tougher to engage with," began Iron Galaxy's Kraig Kujawa, introducing a feature the studio is calling Shadows.
Shadows analyzes the way you play Killer Instinct in order to create a virtual version of you, a fighter who throws particular combos with the same frequency you do and attacks and defends like you do. Kujawa explained that Shadows goes beyond tendencies to capture your specific behaviors: If you teabag your opponents between rounds, your Shadow will as well.
"It's a living representation of you on your best day," said Kujawa. The technology sounds similar to Forza's Drivatars, although Iron Galaxy wouldn't confirm that it's running on the Xbox One cloud. Shadows will be released in April.
After telling the audience about Shadows, Iron Galaxy moved on to announcing Hisako, a 19-year-old spirit woman who fights with her deceased father's weapon. Her default walking speed is very slow, but she's a powerful character whose strategy focuses on counterattacks. Hisako relies on keeping her shadow meter filled; when it's more than half full, she can cancel any of her attacks into a counter. Iron Galaxy showed off some gruesome attacks of hers, like her ability to "consume" an opponent, enter its body and break its bones, and jump back out. She brings her own stage with her, Village of Spirits, but the studio wasn't ready to show it off yet.
Hisako will be released at the end of March, while the Season 2 story mode, with narrated introductions for each character, will arrive in June. Iron Galaxy closed the panel by showing off a live demo of a battle between her and Jago, to the delight of the crowd. You can see a photo of the match above.

McCree, heavily inspired by actor Clint Eastwood and his role in iconic Western films, is deadly in the hands of any sharpshooter. With his futuristic, high-powered magnum, his abilities favor accuracy and agility with equipment that allows him to quickly stun enemies for a brief period.
Meanwhile, don’t let Zarya’s brutish tank-like figure deceive you. She can be a friendly and valuable asset to her team with the ability to shield teammates and stun large groups of enemies.

None of those titles interest me except Fifa. I really grabbed this Xbox because I wanted to finish GTA V(my 360 copy stopped working), Tomb Raider, and I had some gift cards from Christmas. Thanks for the info though. I'll pass it along to friends that may be interested.

Microsoft has begun rolling out its*Xbox Onesystem software update to general users*following a closed beta test period.
Chief among the new additions is the long-awaited and routinely requested screenshot functionality. Though it is technically possible to take a screenshot on the Xbox One, the current process is known to be fairly complex.
With the March system update, taking screenshots will be as simple as double-tapping the Xbox Guide button, and pressing Y to save the image to local storage. Users with Kinect can also say "Xbox, take a screenshot."
Meanwhile, the Upload Studio now acts as a file manager for not just video clips, but also screenshots. With this application, users can find their chosen screenshot and select it as their system-wide wallpaper. Microsoft says it also plans to use Upload Studio as a means to publish images to social media channels, including Twitter, though this function isn’t available yet.
Details on the sweeping changes to Upload Studio, including major additions to its video editing software, can be found*here.
Also included in the software update are new social features such as suggested friends and real name requests, the latter of which is similar to the function on the*PlayStation 4. Meanwhile, Microsoft appears to be suggesting that it has made some tweaks to the tile transparency settings.

DAMNNN Uncharted 4 just got delayed to spring 2016

Since we showed you our first gameplay reveal of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, more of the game and story have come together, and it’s become clear to us that this game is much more ambitious than we originally envisioned.
After spending so many years with Nathan Drake, he means a lot to the team, and telling the climactic chapter of his adventures is a task we don’t take lightly – this game deserves every bit of the attention to detail, precise pacing, and nuanced storytelling Naughty Dog is known for.
So we’ve made the difficult choice of pushing the game’s release date. Giving us a few extra months will make certain that Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End not only meets the team’s high standards but the high standards that gamers have come to expect from a Naughty Dog title.
Thank you for your patience – we know the extra wait will be excruciating, but you’ll see it will be worth it as we reveal more about Uncharted 4 over the next year. The team at Naughty Dog will be heads down working through 2015 making sure that Nathan Drake’s story gets the closure it deserves. Come Spring 2016, you and Nate are in for one thrilling, emotional ride.
