Street Fighter 5 received an early unveiling as a PlayStation 4 and Windows PC exclusive last week thanks to a video popping up accidentally on YouTube. Over the weekend, Capcom confirmed the game's exclusivity and PlayStation officials noted that the PS4 is the only console the game will ever show up on.

Fans took to Twitter to react to the news and some asked head of Xbox Phil Spencer his thoughts on the news.

"Business deals happen," Spencer wrote in reply to a question on Twitter about the deal. "We won't do all of them. When we have a 1st party franchise in a genre I'd rather invest in ours."

"I'd love it if Xbox fans could play all of the games, but business just makes some deals happen," he replied to another tweet. "It's all part of competition."

Spencer added, after a fan wrote that delivering a new Banjo-Kazooie or Conker to the Xbox One would make up for the loss of the next Street Fighter on the console, that he loves the idea of "game franchise bartering. I'll work on making amends for SF."

He also noted that he's seen Twisted Pixel's new game and that it's "very different from anything they've done before."

Spencer also talked in broader terms about the weekend's PlayStation Experience, which he seemed to like. While he didn't shoot down the idea of an Xbox-focused event in the future, like Microsoft's X0 events, he did write that the having a great E3 and GamesCom is important. He also said that the Xbox One has a solid year in front of it.

"We have surprises, announces and great games shipping in 2015, we'll deliver on all three," he wrote in one tweet.

In another he noted that competition is good for the industry.

"I appreciate the competition, they do good work," he wrote. "I just focus on us and like you say, I think that makes us better."
 
CD Projekt Red has delayed The Witcher 3 from February to May 19, 2015.

"When we release the most important game in our studio's history, we must be absolutely sure that we did everything we could to limit any bugs to a level that will allow you to enjoy the game thoroughly," the developer said in a press release.

Assassin's Creed Unity's upcoming patch should "rectify most of the remaining issues," when it rolls out, according to the game's updated Q&A and Known Issues section on its website.

There are four priority issues the patch will address. A bug that causes the game to crash after loading a save has been given "a lot of attention," and most instances should be solved with Patch 4. A similar crash or freeze bug exclusive to PlayStation 4 should be resolved, Ubisoft notes. Other fixes address the game's companion app problems and Initiates legacy recognition issues.

"Work continues on Patch 4, which should bring improvements to the framerate as well as additional fixes," the update reads. "We're still testing some fixes in Patch 4, so we'll have a more detailed preview next week."

The post adds that players should continue to contact customer support with problems. You can read the full update on Ubisoft's site.

Since launch, Assassin's Creed Unity has been plagued with more than two dozen bugs and glitches. In light of the game's numerous problems, players will be given DLC campaign Dead Kings for free; those who purchased the season pass had their choice of one free game, including Far Cry 4 and The Crew.

According to Bungie, Invigorate Gaming got through the new raid in six hours—which is faster than it took for people to figure out how to beat Destiny's first raid.

I bought the AC Bundle just last fucking Saturday! :angry::angry::angry:
 
I bought the AC bundle last night and got a free copy of Halo and an additional controller for 426 with shipping and tax.

i just hope i'm not kicking myself for not waiting until march and they drop the price down to 299.99.
