It's an RNA virus like the flu and it has supposedly already mutated.
I hate to say it but it's fairly obvious that the only thing that will wake these people up is massive death and suffering especially if it's someone close to them which means its already too late.
But if/when that does occur it will mean that we are all dealing with those same consequences despite having followed all guidelines which is what's really infuriating.
I've never really been the type to wish or hope death on people but I genuinely believe that the only thing that will open people's eyes is Trump himself testing positive and the case being so severe that it takes him to the brink of death or actual death which is sad to say.

I don't think a vaccine is going to help, because even if it works in any way effectively, we may not be able to get enough people to take the thing in the first place.
