Man, it don't take 1800 pages to issue direct payments to the people. You see how they botched up last time without creditor protection? It would take a paragraph like they did for offsets.

Out the 3 trillion, only 600 billion or so is directly to Americans. :hmm:Check how much the Americans got last time.:hmm::hmm:

They could have done a direct bill for the people and then come with their states/trickle down shit in the next version. But hey, if people who need the money put up with it, that's on them. Shit should be infuriating. Dems could have put the republicans on the spot with a direct bill. Instead, they give them outs. :smh:

I think we are lucking up because of timing. About to be 80s here and the days are long in NE Ohio as we open up. What's it like in Canada? You guys locked down or opening up like us?

How the people been responding? In my neck of the woods, it was business as usual even during the lockdown. People really going to go hard now that it's warm. :smh:

Because of some of the laws in this country you have to put down a lot of words you can’t just put two words on the paper and call it a bill come on now you should know better

Agreed. It’s been good here on the westcoast. The majority of the issues in and around Vancouver were the larger long-term care facilities and meat plants. Not as daunting the statistics as other provinces and regions like MTL, ONT, Quebec, etc. Working in health care we’ve adhered to guidelines and protocols. No issues at workplace. Had our warmer weather earlier this month. Felt like summer. Lately it has been more spring-like. Confortable and 70 at night, windows open. Daytime in the low to mid-70s. We tend to get our cold snap in Jan/Feb. I am thinking I will save additional vac hours for then in case things are rough with a 2nd wave. Usually take time off in July and December. Probably take less, and carry over more vac time into 2021 as a precautionary measure and for peace of mind.

Smart man. Plan that time for the cold months. I think all the wise people are using this time to prepare for a second wave. Swear some people(including politicians) are going to be acting surprised if shit hits the fan.

Thanks. Yeah - coverage is more difficult during bad weather, so I will probably book that time off in early-2021 to be sure. Book it in Nov or so. Otherwise it’s walking and skytrain to get to work. Packed in recent years. Not as safe to drive. Too risky. Transit numbers and service are way down in recent months. It will be interesting to see what service looks like then. People no longer want to be in larger commuting crowds. Trains that are typically packed like sardines now have 1-5 people judging from Reddit & Twitter posts.

What you are saying could be true. There was concern about blacks in South Africa making moves to try to get their land back. We have always had spies all over the earth, even in outer space. The idea of us not learning from those who were before us is serious right now. Here in America they gave us money and none of that was used for getting off from under white power and white control. If somebody shoot at you and miss why would you stand there and pose for them to get a better shot. In the past we watched them kill us off and then when they run out of ammo we volunteer to go to work to get them more ammo.
