Charles Oakley has had his last fight with Madison Square Garden security.
ESPN Radio’s Michael Kay reported on Friday that Oakley will be banned for life from MSG “even if he buys a ticket.” Kay’s announcement came a half hour before Knicks owner James Dolan was to appear on his show.
Dolan and Oakley have been involved a long feud, and Oakley’s altercation with Garden security on Wednesday appears to be the final straw.
Earlier in the day, the ex-Knicks star said he would not attend Friday night’s Knicks-Nuggets game. It is the team’s first game since Oakley was arrested after a scuffle with MSG security.
“I probably will go around to a sports bar and drink some. … They say I’m an alcoholic, so I might have to start drinking some wine — wine’s not alcohol,”Oakley told ESPN’s “Mike and Mike” on Friday morning.
“I’m gonna cheer ’em on and hope they can get back on track and make a run and make the playoffs. My story’s going to be the same, and I don’t care what they’re trying to say. If I can rob a bank in four minutes, I’m going to try to rob the bank instead of going to the Garden.”
That decision appears to have been taken out of Oakley’s hands.
The Knicks said in a release Wednesday night they hope Oakley gets “the help he needs” and have pushed the narrative he had been intoxicated the night of the incident.
Oakley told Fox-5’s Duke Castiglione that he had “a few drinks” prior to Wednesday’s game.

Madison Square Garden released a series of statements Friday from employees who came into contact with Charles Oakley on Wednesday night before the Knicks legend’s angry confrontation with security and forcible ejection from the arena.
Security guards in the Garden’s employ say Oakley lashed out at them as “henchmen” of Knicks owner James Dolan and accused them of being racially motivated.
At one point in the scuffle, Oakley is alleged to have yelled: “All of you suck Dolan’s d–k!”
Excerpts from the Garden-stamped security testimony, none of which are attributed by name, were first read on Mike Francesa’s radio show.
In addition, accounts from employees in the VIP areas of the Garden say Oakley tried to access an off-limits area of the arena in apparent effort to see Dolan, and a seat order taker also noticed Oakley muttering about Dolan.
A VIP escort described Oakley and his group as being “antsy … and strange.” A concierge labeled him “very vocal … and extremely pushy.”
The first security guard to encounter Oakley said the 6-foot-8 former power forward cursed him out for looking at him.
“You got all those f—ing security people over them looking at me. I don’t know what the f— they’re looking at, but they’re getting on my f—ing nerves,” Oakley allegedly said.
A security supervisor said Oakley, as he was being dragged off the arena floor following a physical altercation, called them “henchmen” and accused them of racism, saying he was targeted because he is black.
The security guard added that Oakley “seemed pretty inebriated,” the supervisor said: “He seemed more of a jerk than a drunk.” Oakley told Fox 5 on Thursday night he had “a couple of drinks” before arriving at the Garden, but did not drink once he was there.
Madison Square Garden’s statement Thursday on the Oakley incident had said: “There are dozens of security, staff employees and NYPD that witnessed his abusive behavior. It started when he entered the building and continued until he was arrested and left the building. Every single statement we have received is consistent in describing his actions.”

If that was going to be the case, he should have went way harder.
This didn't have to get this way, oakley could have made every attempt to prove how racist he is through different media platforms. This proves that we need to take our emostions to the street all day every day. This is also bad PR all the way around especially the Knicks.

Dolan is a peace of shit. He was just on the Michael Kay show trying to explain himself. I caught the tail end of the interview but I can tell you that this event was the culmination of a bunch of shit that has been going on behind the scenes.
