I never understood why so many people of color could not or would grasp the idea that many middle class, upper middle class and wealthy whites often have no significant interaction with people of color what so ever. I have served with many white people who had never even met a real life black person until they came into the military.
well thats what happens when you live in a country thats numerically 70-80 % white..they can choose to deal with or not deal with anyone else...
for minorities and we're minorities NUMERICALLY...we have no choice but to interact with white people in some way. Usually the first person we see from birth is most likely a white person in some authority role..a doctor, teacher, counselor, cop, judge, manager, owner something like that.
Thats not necessarily the case for whites there first contact with people of color is usually someone in a service role or same level as they are but rarely authority which is why they have subtle and not so subtle attitudes about people of color they encounter who have positions of authority.

It was on a shitload of Top 10 lists in 2012 (many listing the show in the #1 spot). Haven't seen it before. Definitely wish she were eyecandy though. I'd be more apt to check it out via the BGOL video store.

One of my boys told me to check this Girls shit out so I watched it on demand. Thought the shit would be wack but he usually doesn't recommend bullshit (put me on Game of Thrones and Breaking Bad) so I checked it out.
Fuck what ya'll talkin' bout that shit is funny as fuck to me.
You gotta be into quirky/witty type of humor though.
The lead chick Hannah and her boyfriend Adam be wildin'. Chick told her doctor that she told a dude to punch her in the chest during sex and nut in the spot where he punched her.
She's kind of a low key slut b/c she comes off the ass pretty easy. The fact that she's so average (or downright ugly to some) is what makes the shit more funny and more realistic. Ya'll crazy if you don't think these dumpy body broads don't be gettin' no play. Ya'll should know from BGOL alone how strong the thirst is in these streets. Her character has a lot of insecurities though and basically tries to deal with a lot of it through sex which is what brings it back to reality.
And all the chicks be fuckin' on the show not just the chubby chick. The chubby chick is just the lead so she gets the most attention.
As far as the black dude, I don't know what BeatDown was talkin' about "jumping through hoops" b/c she was giving him the ass as soon as he hit the screen. It was a bit forced, but they at least didn't take the typical "thug" route w/ the black character. He was respectable.
