They are in high school. It's too early for that.

Let's be real here,
White Yuppies that have gentrified our neighborhoods do live in a bubble. It's always all about THEM.
Diversity only comes into play in their conversations...
"OH. I LIVE IN HARLEM/WASHINGTON HEIGHTS/FLATBUSH/ETC." THE NEIGHBORHOOD IS SO DIVERSE."
Yeah. After they practically forced most Black/Latinos/Asians, and even "working class Whites" out. So their view of "diverse" means ethnic restaurants, tattoo parlors, Gay/Lesbians (WHITE) with a smattering of our folks to make them appear less racist. But with no community interaction what so ever. I've always saw Gentrification no different than colonialism. It's on a domestic scale.
This is why I don't get all bent out of shape over the "GIRLS" controversy.
Black people have more pressing issues to worry about than some average White chicks living in their own world.
And Hell..
Most chicks(no matter what race) are AVERAGE anyway.
It's not like most of us are fucking Model, Porn Star-looking bitches.

Speak for your damn self...this BGOL. Home of the P.I.M.P.![]()

They should not have given it pressure to add a black guy. That was just stupid. We live our lives in a bubble. And it is not uncommon to live around people of different races and cultures and not be attractive to them. To be honest, thats exactly describes about all of New York. Those white yuppies living in Brooklyn rarely step outside their race. Thats the New York I know. I dont know what the fuck Karreem and the rest of the critics are talking about.
Peace,
Regarding Kareem: People shouldn't watch shows that aren't about them, and aren't for them, and get bent out of shape because they're not represented in them. Why the fuck are we still begging CACs for charity casting?
Anyway, if I ever feel like taking a trip to the zoo without leaving my house, I'll watch this shit.

Good post. I never understood why so many people of color could not or would grasp the idea that many middle class, upper middle class and wealthy whites often have no significant interaction with people of color what so ever. I have served with many white people who had never even met a real life black person until they came into the military.
I think it's about, " Discovering " herself in New York.
White women eat that shit up.
I think it came on after Game of Thrones.

For the record, to label this bitch average is a stretch. Bitch is BUTT UGLY!

In her defense she didnt make a show so she could provide hiring diversity. She made it about her life...

I've been popping channels and thought that. But I've come to realize in regards to average looking white chicks, males(mostly white)often act like they are dimes due to their inexperience. Same with any other race of males. They often rate higher due to their experience level. I see this crap all the time at my job. Even at times, telling them, please don't overrate some female I'm about see that you swore up and down is a ten. Then I see her and shes a five right on the dot.
Similar to some of the posters here who think any average looking sister is a dime. Which of course, is based on their lack experience with better looking women.

When you've never had steak those hamburgers are satisfying as fuck.
That's w hy some of these dudes love fat broads so much, that's all they want.

You gotta be into quirky/witty type of humor though.

The show is called girls
Chic name is Lena Dunham
Bout a broad with dude issues I'm assuming
Dudes tell her whatever just so they can smash

her saying she may have molested her kid sister in her autobiographyFuck what y'all on, this my favorite show out right now. Hannah is that bitch!!! The show is hilarious. If you don't get it, oh well. It's like a broke bitches Sex and the City. Hannah is a funny fat bitch that is bout that life. Show is weird but that's whats appealing about it. Been waiting for BGOL to do a thread about it.

well thats what happens when you live in a country thats numerically 70-80 % white..they can choose to deal with or not deal with anyone else...
for minorities and we're minorities NUMERICALLY...we have no choice but to interact with white people in some way. Usually the first person we see from birth is most likely a white person in some authority role..a doctor, teacher, counselor, cop, judge, manager, owner something like that.
Thats not necessarily the case for whites there first contact with people of color is usually someone in a service role or same level as they are but rarely authority which is why they have subtle and not so subtle attitudes about people of color they encounter who have positions of authority.
