A part of me believes she is real insecure about her looks. Like, really insecure. She’ll never admit it publicly, but we all see how hard she is trying. It don’t even have to be that way for her.
Instead of just being, she is fighting against it.

The rebooting is happening in real time. A few will get it and thrive, but the rest will fall by the wayside if they continue to try to fit in instead of being themselves. This is not just about Serena, it's bigger than that, it can be applied to our community. We better define how we will be presented to the world otherwise someone else will be in charge of how others perceive you.

I agree. She’ll never when a beauty contest but I don’t find her unattractive and that body circa 2010-2017 was just ridiculous!!! I believe this also the related to the standard of beauty that’s been set by Hollywood and now Instagram.
I felt the same way I always thought she had a decent face everybody in the world knew she had a awesome body but she starting getting that self-hate bullshit in her brain probably because she was hanging around too many CACs
