It's not even that deep man.
Akon is just tapping into a market that spends ALOT of money.
How does signing a gay artist make you gay?
He did that first. T Pain...kinda masculine (compared to this other weirdo, T pain is a macho man)Why couldn't Akon find a male artist that is "pushing the envelope"in a masculine way.![]()
The amount of gay news items on this board has gotten rather disturbing...![]()
THIS^^^^
kats cosigning this are the same ones that let dope & trash man & em' have it for doing the same sh!t
i don't like this gay agenda at all, but in a way it's not much different than back in the
80's when we had this...
or in the 90's when we had this...

@ all the insecurity shown in this thread.
"This will fuck up the kids!" With all the PROVEN negative images (you know, not the ones based on your pseudo-religious beliefs, but the ones that actually are destructive) in music today, the hypocrisy is unbelieveable.
Reminds me of those video game censoring heads. "Blood and guts is all fine, but God forbid there be a tit in there!"
Bottom-line, if you don't want your kids exposed to this music, don't let them listen. Tell them straight up they can't play his music videos on your TV.
"Come on son, no one is watching their kids 24-7. I'm worried about my kids seeing this shit when I'm not around." <--- What some will counter with.
In that case, with all the negativity that you couldn't possibly shield your seeds from 24-7, it's up to you as the parent/leader to guide them in the direction your judgement sees fit whenever you are there. Otherwise, if this artist doesn't cause your child unrepairable psychological damage, some other bullshit that doesn't go along with your ideology will.
Basically, there are bigger issues than this folks much more likely to cause your children harm. Let Akon get his money. You just stay on top of your game when it comes to parenting.
As far as worrying about what effects this will have on someone ELSE's child...

I may be wrong - but I dont think the gay community would flock to any gay artist - good music is good music regardless of your sexual orientation, so for someone to think that this market (if it even exists) isnt tapped is not accurate IMHO. Something else to consider is that while "they" do have a shit load of disposable income this would also lead me to believe that they have a decent taste in music...
