my mother and father as of today have been together for 47 years raised two kids and are currently raising a foster kid.they married in 1961 . Now i know the blackmen and blackwomen fight and argue on the board and in every day life but they are a testiment of true black love.I only hope i can achive what they have done as far as a relatioship goes.they tell me that they have had good ones and bad ones but before love they respect one another and they are not only husband and wife but best friends... Congrats to my Dad and Mom!!!!!

i hate to say it bruh but those days are over for the most part. Either people are getting married at a later age or they are jumping into marriage too early and getting divorced. A good factory job getting married at 18 having 2.5 kids and a white picket fence days are long gone. It is a sad sight but it is just the reality of the world we live in today.
