What is the worst feeling you had while online?
Worst thought (i.e,these bastards are trying to kill me?)
Was it over around the time you thought or you had no idea?

oh hell yes. i'd do it in a minute... all over again.
why?
well, when it was time, i had a 3.2 GPA in engineering, and i thought to myself... "WTF are you doing. you're gonna fuck up your GPA, scholarships, etc."
but guess what... it was a positive experience 'cause i learned a lot about me, the frat, and how by working TOGETHER, we could get a lot accomplished. i concentrated soooooo hard on school to maintain my GPA that the tasks at hand became "subconscious" to me... forcing me to FOCUS MY ENERGY in the right direction under EXTREME pressure.
upon crossing = FINISHING the task at hand, i also finished that semester with a 4.0 GPA while taking 17 hrs in engineering college (second semester junior). you learn a LOT about yourself in a positive but pressure-filled environment.![]()
and i remember that night... OMG, nigras hopped 'til the sun came up, partying hard hard extra hard.

So when I went to college I did the RUSH thing, but after the first night with all that screaming in my face, hitting, and doing dumb shit just to get their letters, a NY negro like me was like "go fuck yourself, no way I'm allowing you to hit me or walk around campus looking like a class-A penis just to join your club."
The Southern cats looked like I had just spit in the face of Jesus. Whatever.
The NY bros on campus stuck together like their own frat, except we were into getting money, dressing well, getting all that country pussy and were hated to no end by the norms and frats.
So no, I would not and never would. I would however pledge grad where the men are mature, rationale, and are into making money.

one of the guys i was pledging with was a first semester senior.... I didn't see the fkin point of doing all that shit and puttin up with the pain, when you aren't going to see most of your brothers after graduating after another semester anyway
max-dawg said:#1. it ain't NEVER too late.
#2. the frat is BIGGER than a semester or two in college - well, at least it was for me. it's a LIFETIME commitment IMO to follow those principles.
#3. after college, the NETWORKING, etc. is an EASY way to experience the STRENGTH of knowing and being around positive, black men that want to help you succeed in your endeavors.
gameboy said:didn't pledge, and glad i didn't. i was considering it at one time,,, until i realized that fraternities are basically some attention whore shit, that most dudes use to try tn get pussy during college,,, after college, it really serves no purpose.
pussy? i feel sorry for ANY man that does ANYTHING in an effort to get pussy-besides simply being himself.
yeah, why not? jumbo0307 said:as i said in other threads i dont understand why folks pledge today. theres a difference between weedin out the people who want to be there/people who think they wanna be there and taking revenge out on the new guys for what u suffered the year before. i like what frats stood for back in the day but its different today. folks are too busy trying to keep people out rather than inviting people in and helping the organization grow.

not only have i continued long-lasting relationships with frats all thru the country, but i've also networked and established business relationships with brothers from other frats.
for example, i just awarded a software consulting contract gig to a sigma with his own software company. i met him in philly about 4 yrs ago... he's put me on some good business deals, and i've returned the favor.
the media and the bitch blunt do a LOT to destroy the image of black men in this country. fuck what you heard... there are LOTS of brothers out there doing their thing: establishing their own businesses, networks for helping each other, etc.

to pledge based solely on the promise of getting pussy = pure idiocy.max-dawg said:#1. it ain't NEVER too late.
