To answer the OP:
Handling a gun in a serious environment designed for shooting safely and reducing the potential for bystander or self harm (ie a gun range)
Vs riding around in a car listening to ("that damned") rap music and waving a gun around like a child are vastly different.
Not that he could make a video with this gun, but just at a range firing off a 40 cal or 9 into a target......I doubt there would be big blowback from that

However, if you're going to pull out a gun that appears real, then wave it around in an unsafe manner while riding in a moving vehicle.....

it would be a different conversation but still a violation with the agreement he made with the Comissioner to not holding weapons on camera. He would get way less heat though.

Hunter fired a 50 cal at a deer and the bullet never physically hit the deer, it was the over-pressure that killed it.
