Sounds nothing like it to me but I didn’t know Wanna Be a Baller sampled Little Red Corvette…damn I can hear it now.
First 7 secs of the commercial you can clearly hear 3 horn /pianonotes that sound exactly like wanna be a baller which we now found out is from little red corvette.. the first 6-10 secs of little red corvette literally has those same notes in that commercial

I def thought of wanna be a baller when I heard the commercial the first time..in fact I saw it at a watch party we did for the finals..when that commercial came on I was like these nigs just took these nigs track.. this why I laughed when I saw this thread created and immediately replied when I saw it on some great minds think a lot.. as far as the prince track I know of it but hadn’t heard it in a longtime and didn’t hear it that frequently to put 2 and 2 together that this was sampled from to create wanna be a baller

Nas Song is like 30 yrs old I’m pretty sure it’s been cleared.. hell it was semi played in the beginning of if I ruled the world video.. that’s what made me want to hear the track back in the days

...I didn't even realize that song was deeply embedded in my brain until I heard that commercial.
It makes sense when you here the interview. Prince HATED sampling. I saw
an interview where Prince was totally dissing it. In that same interview, he was talking about real musicianship vs sampling.
It makes total sense, Prince respected these dudes for taking his work, reworking it and actually making something different than just doing a sample.
However, I am surprised he let them do it totally for free ..lol.
