I started off with the Jaybird Freedom Sprint
300x300px-LS-f772d0b2_1986928685_Freedom-Kit.png

Sound was average to disappointing, was a chore to pair, but otherwise comfortable during workouts. Worse part, after about 2 months, they stopped working. Jaybird was excellent, as they replaced the unit, with no fuss. The problem. It happened twice more over the course of 7 months.
Took some doing, but I was able to get a refund for them. Took, the refund check, added a few dollars and got these:

These are by far, the best fitting, best sounding, best performing wireless BT's i've ever owned. Pairing is surefooted, you get a cool sound notification that phases across both ears, and they handle sweat like a champ. I sweat like a madman, no problems whatsoever thus far, and the fit is sure. Also they are firmware updatable, and i've updated.

Now I'll say this, $200 is steep, but they perform amazingly for the price, and i'm satisfied.

The last time I checked they don't work properly with android phones. I have the original Power Beats. I like the sound but hate the fact that I can't answer calls. I have a Galaxy Note 4. I think Apple made Beats compatible with The Iphone.

For the gym? I don't touch earbuds at all. Gives me this weird tunnel-like feeling that throws me off, and hearing my breathing like that is disorienting. And absolutely no wires at all. Too many opportunities for something to catch that wire (although, I do have very long locs so I don't know why I'm worried about something catching on the headset wire... LOL).

Nope... over-the-ear joints for me.

My father-in-law gave me his old Motorola S305 joints from when he was a Postal carrier. Worked GREAT... for about a year. Guess I got all I was gonna get out of 'em.

Currently, I'm using the Kinivo BTH240 joints.

The Motorola joints had slightly better sound quality (bass was BOOMING while on the Kinivo joints it's OK but not booming) and they were more comfortable.

But... I did take the Kinivo joints into the sauna for 5 minutes and left my smartphone in the locker. Worked very well for me, even though I kept getting worried about the sauna melting the inner components of the headphones. Nope, worked great.

totally agree. i don't like in ear headphones. as a matter of fact i hate them. especially for working out.

i have used the moto s305's and they work well. but they are not sweatproof and that has posed some problems for me.

i ended up with these as they are sweatproof and they work as well as the moto s305.

LG TONE INFINIM HBS-900

Boss shit

They come with different size rubber earbud covers. If you already got an earlier model of these LG's, you might wanna try a different size earbud cover, sometimes that will make 'em stay in place.

Man you guys are overlooking one of the most important pieces to earbuds in terms of fit, comfort, and yes... sound.

Comply Foam Tips

The T400s works for me. The numbers represent the softness of the tips. Makes a hella difference.

I got the powerbeats2 after the Monster version went goofy on me & started shuffling songs & changing volumes on it's own. I love them...they're super legit. So legit, I hate wearing them working out...I don't wanna fuck them up! I'm thinking about trying those SMS Audio bluetooth, but they come in wack ass colors.

i don't like shit in my ears period. when ipods first got popular and before beats made over the ear stylish again it was one of the worst periods to try and find good over the ear workout headphones.

now there are an abundance of choices.

i don't care for beats but i do appreciate how they changed the headphone market for the better.

This is very true as the rubber ones tend to fall out

I have the Prower Beats 2 but I only use them for my phone. Great fit and there water resistant. I use the Studio wireless beats. Over the head Headphones don't bother me when I work out like some other people. I just don't use them on certain excersises when I'm laying on the bench or when I'm doing bent over rows and Lat pulldowns. Works for me though. Love those headphones and this bitch below in the sig. :dunno:

that depends on the phone. alot of current moto phones have issues with 3 prong connectors as they are made primarily to be used with iphones.

I had those first pair for about a day and took those bitches back

Those PowerBeats2 may be the solution.....that price though

You are right bro. All I can do is turn my music up and down. I can't change songs or anything else

I had me Jaybird Bluebuds X for bout a year. I have had no problems. I workout in them and they connect perfectly with my Samsung Galaxy phone and tablet. I highly recommend. Im not a fan of Beats.. I think all their products are overrated for the price they charge

wish i woulda saw this thread a couple hours ago, I loved my Moto S11's but I washed them.

I copped these for $150 at a pawn shop on my lunch break

they don't sound as good as the originals which i work out in which is the reason I bought these but they are cool

Amazon: $40 Philips ActionFit Sweat Resistant

I have had these for over a year and they work great and are very snug when running and moving about. The fit is adjustable also, more/less snug around the ear. I listen to Podcasts while mowing the lawn with no problem. These have a short cord between them so they dont snag on anything or tangle.
