I learned that the first time I played it. Sometimes my laptop wouldnt play the first beat. So yes, either refresh but sometimes just hitting play again solves the problem. Can remember the song, but my niece was able to get it on the first beat but I didnt because I just heard silence for beat one. I almost always refresh the page when I start heardle.

Probably not in 3 either. My strategy is to start with the same 3 words every time. I never deviate from that method on any of the Wordle variations- even when practicing. Been using the same three word combo for more than 2 months.

That's a pretty good guess distribution. Thanks too for sharing your methodology. It's always interesting to hear how others approach.

In my case, the three words I choose use 15 different letters total which include all the vowels A,E,I,O,U(Y) and the 5 most common consonants (according to Wheel of Fortune) T,R,S,N and L (plus M).

The least common letters are Q, X, J and Z. There would always have to be a U present for Q to be in the word. So that one is easily eliminated.

If necessary, I can utilize guess #4 on an unrelated word used just to rule out 3 unused common consonants. Usually, I'm able to flush the solution to the puzzle out from there.

Otherwise, I'm left with 8 consonants, 4 of which will be Q, X, J and Z... the least common.

I've got 2 more guesses to solve the puzzle.
