Maaan, I even looked in the list for the original group in YaHeardle. Looked for my homeboy's version first...nada, not even the song title.... I was perplexed until I skipped enough to hear the vocals.* This was a fun one. It seems obvious at first (especially to us old heads), then you see it's not so obvious

Right, That's exactly what happened to me. Until I remembered the song that was the solution of this puzzle...Maaan, I even looked in the list for the original group in YaHeardle. Looked for my homeboy's version first...nada, not even the song title.... I was perplexed until I skipped enough to hear the vocals.
Agreed!*Word #2, WTF?

#Heardle #119 Ain't that a bitch? I didn't have audio for the first two seconds. I had to refresh the browser.
*Out of all these games, I think this one is the most difficult. The other stuff relies completely on logic or on one's ability to read a map. If you never heard the song before and if there are no sung or spoken parts at the beginning...
Sure. Worldle's tough too for sure. That's the one it takes me the longest to solve.I thought wordle was the hardest. Yes I could get to the 90% but then if it's a country I've never heard of it was a wrap
You're not alone in feeling like that and you're right. Right now, new music sales are way down right now while sales of oldies are up. I've never seen that before. So disappointed. Like @respiration said. If these songs have a long intro with no voice or hook, it's a wrap. Half these songs I didnt even realize had these intros. I guess to avoid copyrights issues they have to use sound cloud versions.

This takes me back to freshman year at Penn State. The good thing about the 90s is you could hear all types of music on the radio. Now it's just trap. Even RnB is Trap. Very little artistry.

My Guess Distribution:*Smooth sailing today for the most part. I truly admire those of you who solve Wordle in 2 guesss (or occasionally one). You'll just about never see me get Wordle in 1 or 2 guesses. Probably not in 3 either. My strategy is to start with the same 3 words every time. I never deviate from that method on any of the Wordle variations- even when practicing. Been using the same three word combo for more than 2 months.
That's a pretty good guess distribution. Thanks too for sharing your methodology. It's always interesting to hear how others approach. My Guess Distribution:
1) 1
2) 5
3) 38
4) 60
5) 34
6) 6
I got it on the first ONE time (very early on) and five times on the second guess. That's a total of 144 which leaves me with 7 losses.
I consider the first two guesses are used to orient myself so I aim for three or four to figure it out. I approach Octordle more carefully as my goal is to try to complete it in nine guesses, which is a daunting feat.
Everytime I get one with one letter off, I'm like...
Dammit, it's BEEN! Boyz II Men made that other song.Side note, after checking I guess that is the real name, but it's not the Hood Name LOL.
