Will Instagram & Record Labels Shut Down D-Nice & All DJ's

We definitely need our own platform. And not worry about building it up to sell it to the pink people. Really make it for us and about us. This is the one time that we all need to come together, work together and grow together. Our biggest weakness is that we don’t come together like the Jews do and build something epic. There’s always the crabs in the barrel that either knock it or put the seeds of discontent in others heads then talk shit when it fails. I always admired the south musically with how they stuck together and built their movement. NY could’ve really controlled shit but we were too busy knocking each other down
even the South money was going into a jew pocket don't ever forget that.. Those weren't independent artist those were artist that were under labels and most of those were cac owned.. It's why I use to laugh at the whole region battle people use to talk about amongst fans.. I was like at the end of the day no matter who sells the most records get the most spins majority of the money goes into a white mans pocket who more likely is from NYC.. So it's like a bunch of hookers from diff states under 1 pimp talking s hit to each other about who makes more money, in the end it don't matter cause all your bread goes into that pimp that lives in nyc.. The real person on top is the person who benefits from all your blood, sweat, tears... Cacs been had the game in their pocket since the 80s when they were making movies and releasing albulms.. They gave shitty contracts and somehow convinced people the only way to make it was going through them.. That was game set match...

Fortunately a crack in the matrix happen decades later called the internet... People still haven't comprehended or grasp the concept to be connected to the world for free or pennies.. They haven't comprehended 10 fig amount of people equals 10 fig amount of possibilities of customers.. Haven't figured out the 2 most important thing in bizz is the product and consumer.. Haven't fig out that all you have to do is connect the 2... Haven't figured out the internet made this possible.. Haven't figured out that once you introduce those 2 together there's no need for an outside figure head aka company/big bizz overseeing this... A small percentage are taking notice and utilizing it.. But imagine if the people as A whole comprehended that.. Hopefully people start to understand this crack in the matrix called the internet

Fat Joe is talking with Mike

I was watching his broadcast yesterday with Michelle Obama he was playing the house tunes.

After that first broadcast I seen every DJ I follow do a live stream but kept getting shutdown.

Damn

Yeah, D Nice's popularity might have alerted these record companies.

Looks like he got a bag from the NBA

Interesting. NBA most def got a deal with all of the music publishers. They will pay all the royalties. This is a good resolution. Artists will be paid!

I'm not sure how this would work, because if they were in a club, would they have to pay to use the song there? I can see D-Nice starting to have to do ads... :smh:

Yes they would. Clubs, bars, sports bars....all pay what is called 'small performing' fees. Just look on the window the next time you go into one and you will see sticker for ASCAP or BMI....that is who you pay.

Yeah
They kept putting up disclaimers saying they didn’t own the rights to the song but still got shut down.

I don't know why people even post this bullshit....you think the world doesn't know that you own a famous song on the radio...LOL....who gives a fuck if they own the song? They are using the songs for their own private enterprise.....so they gotta pay

Cats don’t understand how gangsta the copyright game is. ASCAP/BMI have undercovers that will show to clubs and write down every song played and send you a bill if you did it without permission. Shit is wild.

Your first sentence made me chuckle.

Black Americans built this country but folks always tell them to go somewhere. Black Americans created hip hop. They shouldn’t be asked to create something great. Why don’t those fuckers create something great. People should learn to fight for theirs.

I had a lil wing and daiquiri restaurant. Shit was opened 2 weeks and I got this email..... Imagine running a company responsible for licensing every fucking song ever written Iin the world and played in the USA. BMI/ASCAP got it on lock.

“ Attached is information regarding BMI and the service that we provide to businesses and organizations that use music. If you have questions or need further information, please call us at (888) 689-5264, email us from www.bmi.com/email, or visit us on the web at www.bmi.com/licensing.”
Service lol. Like the Italian defense league provides a service to keep your club from getting firebombed unless you join and pay dues.

That’s that bullshit. And they don’t distribute the money properly when they do collect, but that’s a whole nother story and it’s Friday.

I remember back in the late 80's early 90's, record companies went after DJ's and people making mixtapes, then they realized that the DJ's were not playing the entire song and it promoted the music which brought in sales, lawsuits were dropped.
Looks like we are back were we started.
DJ's buy music from record pools, why are they not allowed to play the music on platforms like YouTube etc, is beyond me.
I get it, some new DJ's just download from YouTube without ever buying a single song, but that's not what the pro's do.

I think if you're not earning a dime while spinning on platforms like IG, then you should not oh anything, if you're spinning on YouTube, then fine, the labels get percentage, that should be fair.
If you spent tens of thousands to make a product would you be cool with someone using it without your permission and for free?

I've always been disgusted that cacs/jews controlled an art form that wasn't created, mastered, and perfected by them.. Literally a black mans creation along with help from our Latin cousins strongarmed by outsiders.. I get they helped finance some projects and help promote it.. But get your lil percent and the rest of it be circulated by the creators and craftsmanship.. 1 of those things if you could rewrite history would of never let cacs be involved outside of being consumers and maybe promotion.. The origin of hip-hop and how it fell in control of other hands has always been motivation to why to want to create a product and be self owned.. The NYC black strip club game has had similar story and why it inspired the underground and why I grasp the concept of the underground.. Cacs touching and controlling the money that blacks built never sat right with me... This dumbass situation rub me wrong to and should inspire others to push a segregation away from these pale skins... Having fun and entertaining is part of the genre experience and these fags find a way to ruin it

what could happen is find a way to play a bunch of unsigned artist whether rnb or hip-hop and spin their music.. Let it be an anti industry movement slash displaying artist people never heard of.. Get that movement started

Another fine example of why I despise devils.

Is doing great work

So if IG DJ’s are only using music licensed by the IG platform then they won’t run into this problems?

That’s why most of these IG djs get shut down. Same reason they silence certain music played in the background of your story.

On Joe Budden's podcast they had a discussion on this

Record companies are trying to monetize every nickel. I wouldn't be shocked.

Especially for a room getting over 10, 40, 100,000. Just like radio stations have to pay for music.
Did you peep when they said bars pay them also?
