He loses nothing, and gain everything. He knows that some people will donate money to be on the main board. I, for one, donated because I would like to see a black owned website do well. However, if this the antics he *HNIC* is going to pull, then this is the last $10 I'm going to ever spend on this site.
HNIC is letting Don do his dirty work. Thus, explains his silence on this situation.
I dont really know what's going through HNIC's mind or whether he's actually behind the scenes orchestrating anything, but what I do know is that having Mods abusing their powers to ban people on personal whims is never constructive to forums/message boards.

Besides that, I'm kind've confused as to why Tha Don's actually banning anyone over here. Imhotep broke none of the SOL rules so in essence, there was no tangible reson for him to have been banned over here.

A few opinionated members and frequent visitors of SOL have been quiet, to a degree, over this whole issue.
I'm glad the brothers came over here. Regardless of the selfish and possibly insecure reasons anyone might have to be opposed, the brothers brought some spirit and most importantly, some posts to this side. I have been thoroughly entertained. And informed.
I too, however, must admit that the "refugee/phuck bgol-main/viva la resistance" thread themes have gotten a bit redundant and cloying. Regardless of the degree of creativity most of my brothers have utilized to express the situation.
As a disclaimer, I haven't been a big "Da Don" supporter, and I haven't shown my sincere gratitude to the HNIC. As a webmaster who has owned and operated a few various social media, I can empathize with HNIC and I know the decision to go one-hundred percent pay did not come easy. Yet, after having to forego a few domain names, and hosting packages for financial reasons, I can't blame him. Let there be no doubt in your mind that freedom is not even free, and I mean that just as much from an economic standpoint as a philosophical one.
I don't agree with the ban.
I can't condemn the spirit with which the ban was administered though.
If we say that Da Don over stepped his authority, and that he and HNIC are making power moves, we must apply the same mathematical formula with Imhotep as the constant, and realize that Imhotep coming in the "lottery" thread was also a power play.
Imhotep may have wanted to do his research.
As someone who knows Da Don's penchant for unscruplous determination to win at all cost, this is very consistent. As a man watching his woman "squirt" might say, I saw it coming...
