If anybody has earned the right to speak to the ills of the Black community, it is somebody that did first hand community based work in the Black community. Sometimes I think some of us use victim hood as an excuse to not progress any farther than our personal comfort zone. Yes, white imperialism is real. Yes, racism is still alive. But, what does that have to do with poor personal choices that are based on freewill? Give me an example of how white imperialism forces one to not to put on a rubber, knowing what the possible consequences are. On on the flip side, what about the female that knows that a dude has 3 kids that he's not taking care of and she still let's him hit raw? Better yet, whose responsible for the anti-intellectualism that far too many of our children have?

You think its more effective to tell all Blacks around the world that White people is the root of our communities' problems? Is that even true today and how is that effective?

See my problem is that it sounds like alot of us still either want to hear or believe that we are victims. I think the more that you tell someone that they are victims, the less effective it is. However, the more you tell someone, no excuses its on you but you can do it, the better off they will be.
