Why don't we have a strong BLACK leader(s) to speak for us?

damn son where you been under a rock..

you dont know that under a capitalist aka racist

society, a righteous leader, is either going to.

A- have his character assassinated in the corporate controlled media.

B- get murked..medical assassinations are the soup du jour

C- sell out to the highest bidder for the safety of his family or for greed.
D- Taken down by his/her own people.

Many other cultures have communities that look out for one another. For example the jewish community here in florida. They've build their own schools. They've build their own hospitals and ambulatory systems. Native americans here in florida have their own police, hospitals etc., which revolve around the casinos which they're are legally able to own and run. These programs and communities are/were primarily funded by federal and state subsidies. Guess what they call our subsidies? Welfare.

Were trying to fight to be in the wrong system. Were trying to integrate ourselves into a system that wasn't built for us to be in. Every other culture figured this out why can't us? Where are the thriving black communities and why are they so hard to find?

We have never had A LEADER.

Black people have never been of one thought.

Some followed Garvey some didn't

Some followed US some followed the Panthers

Some followed Malcolm Some followed MLK

Some followed SNCC some followed SCLC

Some worked peacefully and some like the BLA used force

It isn't a matter of having A Leader

The issue is that we don't have enough young people that are activist

Not enough willing to sacrifice anything to energize a movement. Sure some gt upset in the moment but moments are short lived.

It didn't matter that there were numbers that worked in opposite ways they were out working.

This...but mainly the lack of younger folk being active. Many of the very people we look up to or praise for their civil right involvement. Where not "older" people but younger folk. Also I hear people say people like Sharpton need to pass the mantle. Al didn't wait for Jesse to do so. He just went ahead with his movement.

Please we've had several leaders...people are just too scared to follow them and it depends on what you perceive a leader to be

Wow...black people still looking for guidance, while other minority groups continue to excel in the so call system. Who's the "leader" in the Asian, Indian, and Hispanic community, that "speaks for them"? This is sad.:(

you are 100%

and if you look at the ages of those who lead movements in the past the majority were young when they got involved.

the problem as you stated is the younger generation ain't prepared to put it on the line.

There is no reason that Sharpton , or Gregory or Jackson are still looked to.

They should be sitting back only making themselves available for counsel if asked

both of u niccas starting to sound like trolls like hybrid chef

no you sound like somebody that doesn't think before you type.

you are in a thread that asked why we don't have a strong black leader.

did ask why we didn't have strong black leadership.

the title assumes that black people follow lock step and that isn't the case as i also pointed out in my answer.

but you read the first sentence and started typing obviously without understanding what you were replying to.

:angry::angry::angry::angry:

:smh::smh:

:hmm:

....If you haven't been paying attention you were just born in 2000 all of our leaders were killed off.jailed or brought down to nothing and after that they the government has done a good job at paying, bribing and using many of the leader's to come after to redirect their attention on things that aren't as important and there have been many who have fallen to scandal, rightfully so.

It's also the people living today they will use you, abuse you and turn on you at the drop of a dime.

Leader's are chosen not selected or appointed nor directs themselves to be a said leader.A lot of these so-called leaders place the badge on themselves and that has fucked up a lot of things, communities, services, people's actions and most importantly our power unity.

Look at the BLM movement every week one of them is getting exposed of hire/fired for whatever.

Nicca it's almost 2018 and you still need a mofo to lead you to the promised land ....wake the fuck up ....or keep on following

The way these niggaz cheer for and worship obama you’d think they had great leader and voice in the White House

Especially in light of recent events...

now more then ever don't we NEED a strong vocal leader for Black People?

Where is the next Martin, Malcolm, Marcus Garvey, Huey etc.

I think Minister Farrakhan could have been after the Million Man March.

It seems we only have Sharpton now on a national stage and Jesse Jackson is losing respect.

The NAACP may never fully recover after the Donald Sterling fiasco.

As disjointed as the Republican party IS there are leaders within it with strong constituents..

Rush Limbaugh, Bill O'Riley, Hanniety and the rest have STRONG voices and have influenced change for THEIR groups.

Say what you will but White people (and we have seen Jewish people, Asian, & Hispanics follow suit) unify in times of crisis and importance.

They have strong lobbyists, vote as a block and boycott & protest in a very organized manner.

Even PETA and GLAAD have STRONG groups that have voices that WILL be heard.

It seems even with all the growth of social media, the information and knowledge that most of us are AWARE of

That knowledge isn't been utilized to its fullest.

Where is OUR voice???
We do have it, Brother. Look no further than your mirror.

We do have it, Brother. Look no further than your mirror.
That is true what you said but no anybody can pull off what must be done. Most of us are dead or in jail or prison for even trying. There is a such thing as a master plan and a black messiah (a black man not controlled by the system). This is what it is going to take.
I cannot protect others from these white devils if I cannot protect myself from them. I am at the stage of poor righteous teacher. Never really sold my soul to a white reality and I am growing not only to not owe the enemy anything but also not be controlled by them.
It is just a matter of time before the things I am concentrating on and working toward will start materializing. I know sooner or later you will start seeing what is real on national television, newspapers, and magazines. It is just a matter of time.
