Why do black people think white people speak properly????

American English is the bastard child of the "Queens English". Its a vernacular that has gained respect as a "language". Many vernaculars have become langages because those people who spoke them, have declared Nationhood. Spanish is not spoken the same in Mexico as it is in Puerto Rico, or Spain, or Brazil, or Peru, or Venezuela. Arabic is not spoken the same in many countries. English is not spoken the same in many countries. Hatians speak a vernacular of French.

Black people in America are made to believe our language is improper partly because we have no power to say otherwise...

100% Co-sign. The only thing that make a language standard is the military force behind it. English in its most pure form will always we a bastardize dialect of German. Only when we can speak in terms of power can we speak in terms of our dialect becoming a language.

Look, go learn Swahili if you don't want to speak a European language. But, purposely speaking in broken English like a retard who can't conjugate the verb, to be, doesn't put anyone in touch with their African roots. I just makes them sound stupid.

Now, if we do collectively decide to learn Swahili, then fine. I'm all for that. However, until that day, I'm going to adhere to the grammatical rules of English as best I can.
