The NBA is not trying to revisit the AI era. You could have consider that the dark ages. Once he left, the NBA went on a money making spree. I think the NBA appreciate the new good image it has with the fashionable players instead of the cornrow baggy clothing era. The NBA is coming close to surpassing baseball (if it already hasn't) as the number 2 sport. Unless Iverson is ready to conform to the likes and attitude of Lebron, Durant, Wade, etc., no need for him to come back.

Go to youtube and show me 1 game that he looked drunk playing. Until I read this story I never heard of AI be a heavy drinker and if he was he handle his business on the court. He said in a interview that he tried taking care of too many people but o course everyone only wants to read just the negative shit.
