Question for da don..... i want to upgrade my sound system it weak as fuck.. it lacking that omph and that booming effect ya get in the club..... now i see some of the speakers at one site and it said 10" driver and it carries a warning label that it cause excessive hearing loss.. well my ears are already broken so doesnt implies to me. but what is meant by driver? and also my boys be complaining about my system lacking the lows/highs and that it lacking that clarity.. .what product can fix this automatically is it the crossover? or the equalizer? please advise.....

Don't listen to your music at volumes that can cause you to go deaf for long periods of time. Anything above 120dB is standing next to an airplane engine loud.

Your boys are saying that you haven't staged your sound. It's like the difference between buying a Yorx stereo from K-Mart and an Onkyo rack system.
YOu have to make your highs crisp, your mids are your vocals...so they should be clear and your bass just has to be tight. If you've got speakers that don't have a good sound (i.e. paper cones, most factory crap) then you need to burn those joints. Shop around for a good set of 6" or 6X9s if you can. Also suggested:
A component set with crossover and tweeters (Good for Mids and highs - vocals and high hats)
If you have rear speakers: If you have enough room on the deck - 6x9s are ideal
If your rear speakers are in the door: 6in. is usually the norm.
In the trunk: Get woofers with reputation and the right power running too them.

Positioning is everything. You should have your highs and mids pointing to your face or head as much as you can. Your bass: you will have to consider if you're in an SUV (openspace), or a sedan. What kind of bass are you trying to get? You'll have to tune your amps and your speakers to achieve the sound that you want.
