I mean am I the only male who cannot stand weaves, micro braids and individuals? I can't even talk to a chick with that shit in her hair.

I don't wear a weave, but sometimes weaves are necessary. Some women have hair that just will not grow or is very thin. Black women are not the only women who wear weave. We see Beyonce weaved up all the time, but so is J-Lo, Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera. Would you rather be seen with a woman wearing a weave or a woman with bald spots in her head?
The point that Jam Jam brought up is the thing that bothers me whenever I hear people talk about how they hate hair weaves. There is this suggestion that the only black women wear weaves. Or, that the only weaves out there are for super straight fine hair. But that couldn't be further from the truth. There are curly weaves, afro weaves, nubian lok weaves, etc. Furthermore, people of all races wear them. White people with straight long hair still wear weaves with straight long hair, etc.
lmao typical black woman excuse.... those other women you mentioned wear weaves at times yes, but they have hair underneath. black women on the other hand have no idea how to grow hair, therefore they rely on weaves.

Celebrities aren't the norm.

Celebrities are not the norm, but they are members of society and people tend to emulate them.

I have no idea why you quoted me with your comment. Women of all races wear weaves.
But to them weave and toupee's is part of the job. they have images to uphold for the sake of their careers and roles.
Just like if this thread were about wearing suits and not weaves you can't count politicians because it's part of their job to wear them

NEVER BEEN A FAN OF THE WEAVELooking good is a universal concept. No one wants to look busted. People do whatever is necessary for them to feel better about themselves. Women wearing make-up, weaves, seductive clothing etc., is all done in a effort to be more appealing to the male species. Everyone who cares about how they look are trying to uphold an image.

Yea women of other races might not get weaves but they do other shit like breast implants or ass injections.

Pretty much.Let me just say this...
Women who rely on weaves and wigs 90% of the time usually have fucked up hair underneath.
That's a fact!![]()
