I like it. But at the same time it's fucked up. The fallout from concealing his son's accident is crazy.
I like the show but I agree with you that boy I hope gets what’s coming to him because he acts like a little bitch.

but yea...the son is all over the spectrum with his actions...
it's like...if he wants to get caught....or confess...then jus go down to the precinct and confess...instead of undermining and sabotaging your dad at every turn...who's tryna protect YOU..and keep your goofy ass alive!!
and I was kinda hopin' things would work out for Kofi Jones...and he would somehow be able to stay alive long enough to be exonerated....i feel like he stood tall...

This show has sooo many holes that the character's don't address. Why did Micheal wait until episode 4 to really have a talk with Adam? He should have stayed up all night and walked that kid thru EVERYTHING! Micheal is a lawyer, so he knows the game. Adam is a fucking idiot. The writing and directing of this show need a lot of work.
I wanted Kofi & The Baxter's to work together. That would have been a good twist. It could have been "The night of but in reverse". The actor who plays Kofi, really showed me something. I hope he gets more roles in the future.

Don't think he knows. He said who the player was on the ball in the livingroom and didn't think twice about it. So don't think he knew it was his son's.
I like the show so far, but it is very telling for entitlement of being of the color persuasion.
Getting out of being expelled, going to jail. Smh.
Its why there was a disclaimer at the second show because of how different we as blacks are treated.

When I saw the trailer for it about two months ago....set it up for a season pass....Had five episodes on the DVR..... started watching them the other night..... I'm hooked.... shit started to pick up quick as more twists came into play
