...dayum, I forgot about his band, but I know those two songs. Weird shit, their songs are somewhere embedded unknowingly in my mind.
At school, they used to say that Phil Collins murdered someone and in the song he was admitting to the murder. People used to say a variation of that, like Phil witnessed a murder and other shit.

Yeah, a lot of these songs are just White folks doing R & B in this thread, ....hell, since Black folks created Rock N Roll, they doing another form of Black music. Fuck it, it's all Black music!
I liked this song as a kid, however he never made a good argument to why he was wearing his sunglasses at night, though. Stevie Wonder would have had a better argument.
For me it was Night Tracks! Shit stayed on from 11pm to 7 am on Friday and Saturday nights!

Night Tracks came on TBS so if you weren't plugged into Ted Turner's cable stations you may not have gotten it. Turner was always out of Atlanta so growing up in Augusta, GA we got all TBS content.

Yeah, I got Ted Turners' TBS, but I never watched the show, though. At least, I don't remember it. From this clip, the show looked like a big advertising tease. "This music video is coming up...." and it never comes up. I hate our era sometimes, because we had to wait for music video.
