Came in here to type this.
I’ve seen that movie 4 times and I tear up every fucking time.
The acting / situation is too real.
So I’m never watching that shit ever again!
I am a big lover of German Shepherds. I may have posted this already in the post long ago but if not, this joint here. I know the dog in the movie and true story is not a German Shepherd (an Akita/Alaskan Malamute actually) but, it don't matter. Shit had me doing the quiet cry.
One more watching The Lion King with my son. The look in his face when Mufasa was killed. It kinda got to me thinking about how something happening to me would affect him.
It’s a tear jerker, good film to watch with your girl to score some points with her.
Definitly watch before letting small children watch.
It’s currently on HBO MAX and Amazon.
Synopsis
When a young rabbit named Fiver (Richard Briers) has a prophetic vision that the end of his warren is near, he persuades seven other rabbits to leave with him in search of a new home.
Several obstacles impede their progress, including predators, a rat-filled cemetery and a speeding river.
Upon arriving at their final destination, a hill dubbed Watership Down, the rabbits find that their journey is still far from over.
Realistically drawn, this British animated film carries an emotional weight.
