I tried to play it off by doing it silently and turning my back to her, after I wiped my face I turned around to her and she started crying harder I guess she saw my eyes were still watery

Mississippi Burning - I took this chick to see this in my senior year and she was balling her eyes out. I think that had an effect on me and may have got my waterworks started.

We fucked up as teens and watched this one a few weeks after our own dog had passed. Shit hits you hard, especially as a dog/pet owner in general. Realizing the dog was with me from 1987 - 2000 and throughout many of my formative years (grade school, junior high, high school, and part of college). Not a fuck was given - some tears were shed @ the end.

This is the first time I've noticed this thread. So, my nomination has probably been mentioned already. Still "Grave of the Fire Flies" is the saddest anime ever. Moreover, since it's based on actual events, it ranks among the saddest human tragedies ever told.

Seriously, if you're suicidal, or if you're contemplating suicide, do not watch that anime. It will push you over the edge.
