Some of y'all getting played by your kids.
When my oldest daughter was 17 we were in the mall because she was looking for some sneakers. Every pair she picked up was 150 or better ( this was some years ago).
Anyway I said I am not paying that much for some sneakers and handed her 100 and told her I was going to another store for something. She had her own money as well.
Fast forward and she comes and finds me and shows me the sneakers she bought. The price in them said 59 so I asked her what happened to all those 150 and better she was looking at ?
She laughed and told me wasn't no way she was spending her money on some over priced shoes .
Moral of the story was once the money changed hands it was hers and now she thrifty but if it was mine then price is no object.
