I can cook minute rice with the best of them!! However, I can't cook long grain rice if u paid me!! Looking for any suggestions?
Ha ha ha. I used to be just like you OP. Shit used to piss me off that I couldnt cook something as simple as rice. One cup of rice with one cup of water is the standard. However, different brands of rice require more water, and/or different cooking times. You have to stick with one brand and start with the one cup rule. Once you find the right amount of water and cooking time. Your rice will come out perfect everytime.

Its 2 parts liquid to 1 part rice. I make rice almost every day. Cosign on using stock.
