What unpopular opinions do you have? Hip-Hop/Rap edition

LL is one of the best MCs ever, but he never gets any credit. That's not right!

Okay I understand your point on that.

I think my unpopular but I guess strangely also unpopular opinion is that in both those specific cases those pairings were so perfect that no OTHER rapper has been able to consistently sound as good on those 2 super producers beats. No one finds a pocket crafts a hook flows on Preemo / Pete beats like CL & Guru....

And another unpopular opinion i think both those mcs kinda sorts resented the fact that they become permanently attached to one single god level producer like and never really able to venture on their own

* Much respect to the incredible Jazzamatazz series
Yeah like Big Boi & Talib Kweli. Both are nice but Stacks & Mos are on a whole 'nother level so they'll never get the respect as emcees they deserve. Phife with Q-Tip also.

That is actually a very very interesting debate topic.

And 3 PERFECT examples

Phife because of low end theory solidified his position. It was an iconic leveling up between albums.

Big Boi with that solo on the double album plus Kryptonite let any dumb doubters know. Cause he aint NEVER spit a wack verse on them outkast classics.

Talib working with Hi Tek (Cincinnati stand up)

Talib I think out the 3 is the least charismatic on the microphone. And his off the mic behavior has effected his overall appeal. But no one can say he aint a dope mc.
