I’m saying…he got classics but man them albums mid I don’t think no one wants to admit it because he a legend lol.

I suspect Busta intentionally fucks up his albums so he doesn't have to keep making them.

That way there's no advance to pay back, no restrictions on who he can work with. No record company BS. Just pick up the phone, show up at the studio. Collect the fee from someone else's advance. If the track hits go on tour.

Then when the money runs out or he feels a little antsy pick up the phone again.

If so that's a hell of a life.

IF Busta got a certified classic? I think its this one.

I consider his first one a classic just off the pressure expectation and risks he took on there. The WORLD was anticipating that solo and he DELIVERED and launched a historic music career.

And When Disaster strikes? Aint NOTHING to sneeze at. BECAUSE of the RIDICOLUS SINGLES on there ALONE should make it a classic by any metric.

@OutlawR.O.C. Busta's "problem" album-wise was ALWAYS curation. HE tried to do TOO MUCH. He needed someone to say - you only get 10 records that's it and they have to have some semblance of sense and order and sequence.

It took him 4 days to do 16 bars

First session 8 hours pen and pad wrote nothing

Second day wrote twice ripped up boy verses

Third day same thing

Fourth day scraps pen and pad and goes in the booth and did the verse one line at a time

Whole verse was punched in last session was 16 hours
