You got NBA, NFL, NHL, MLB and the Soccer leagues. I didn't include Track and Field cause they're one-dimensional sports with no teamwork.
Criteria from ALL PLAYERS
NBA NFL NHL SOCCER
ATHLETICISM X 1/2 X
HAND-EYE Co-ORDINATION X 3/4 X
STAMINA X X
QUICKNESS X X X X
STRENGHT X X X
QUICK DECISION MAKING SKILLS X X X X
MULTI-DISCIPLINARY SKILLS. X 1/2 1/2 X
I think I'll basketball players take it. In basketball you have to be an above average athlet, even Jeff Foster displays more athleticism than most in MLB and NHL.
Hand-eye co-ordination is a must for dribbling and shooting.
Unlike Football, Hockey and Baseball they are no line changes or stoppages and you must play both offense and defense.
Basketball requires both quickness and brute strenght.
In basketball there's no hiding, a 6'5 guard gotta guard a 6'10 PF in the post coming off a picka and roll. In Football you can alway take out his legs or force him out of bounds.
