From regular IT, do I need more programming and automation skills? What can I learn?

The IT bro shit doesn't work, I don't think it will I'm too old and black and crackers not going to hire me so i give up.

My goal is a regular desk job paying 50 a year with healthcare, I don't care about the rest.

Project mangement will help alot
depending on the company / industry- the business analyst is the primay interface for capital projects- between IT and the line of business / stakeholder

one of the jobs is to make the business case for new initiatives and to develop before a project manager steps in

Pic a solution (SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, Adobe, etc.) and learn it *from a end user perspective first! Indians do most of the deployment work not because they're smarter, but they're cheaper. Be an end-user and over time, become an architect.
