I dont like it to sensitive had the fire department sent to my house 2 times over basic shit

You said fire department so I am asuming you have smoke detectors. If so false alarms from a system like thiscan be caused by the location of the smoke detector or a bad or dirty smoke detector.

Am using this old age system called "mind my business, try not to flaunt the little money I make, hit the gym hard just incase I nigga would" and it's been working for me so far

Muscles aint gonna stop people from breaking in while you home. if you have a fire at home and your neighbors are minding their business, who gonna call the fire department?

All wireless sensors and cameras linked to a wireless touchscreen.
Smoke, CO2, Flood, glass break, and motion detectors.
Four cameras, 2 outside 2 in. Light control and thermostat all wireless and controlled through webpage, touchscreen, or what I prefer...smart phone app.
I can look in and outside my house, change the temp, turn the lights on or off, and pretty much be linked to my house 24/7. No matter where Im at.

Everyday on the news I see security footage that's so bad you can't even make out the thieves faces which is as bad as not having the cameras, I hope y'all got some high def joints

You don't need high def. You just need the right camera in the right location. Usually those cameras are either out dated, have poor resolution, lux values, or installed incorrectly.

I would recommend a diy system from www.simplisafe.com ..thats if you are interested in one of the most cost effective solutions. I only pay $14.99/month NO CONTRACT after you buy the system for like $200 easy self install and you're set. and its yours so if you move just set it up again no wiring. And it just works. false alarm they called me within 30 secs typically and ask if I need police.

Then I got two Foscam cams with night vision the good thing about them is they wasnt asking a bunch of questions like serial number etc. I got them off ebay. there tech support was just ready to help me set up after they call me back.

The wireless ones have a SIM card in them like a cellphone that comes on if they cut the land line

That guy lied. He just trying to get a sale. I don't have a
home phone and i had Adt for 2 years.

This.

They have cellular back ups that work thru power outages, cable cutting, etc. just make sure you get one that has a microphone on it that they can use to communicate with you thru the keypad in case they can't reach you via phone.

Same exact one I have... it's wireless and communicates via cell networks.

I had ADT before Vector but I didn't have a phone line when it was installed. Everything went to my cell

Almost every alarm system has the capability of Landline or cell. Landline is still the industry's choice for communication because it is much more stable and reliable than cell. But the industry is slowly moving away from Landline because alot of people do not have landline. Cell radios and the cost of monitoring is extra so most of the time the choice is left up to the customer.

The Industry still has not moved to ethernet communication, though there is some equipment available that can communicate over ethernet.

I have ADT but will be purchasing cameras to put around the house & monitor on my spare pc while uploading feeds to my ftp server.

Alpha Series by Swann outside and i have a wireless camera inside.
the wireless camera has better video quality than the outside cameras.
