After the fall of Grenada in 1492 most of them were expelled back to Africa. The Spanish followed them back across the Iberian Peninsula back to Africa and sought to conquer the Africans in the same way they were conquered by the Moors. Spain, feeling bold now, decided to explore the world and took some of the conquered moors with them. The rest is history.
The Moors holding control of Spain is one of the biggest "what if"s in history.

Is it true that the Moors were aware some Africans had sailed westward and never came back or they did come back across the Atlantic, relayed the star maps to the Dogon/Mali and the Islamic Moors sold these maps to the Spanish crown and enter the fake Jew Colombus?
That much I don't know. I'm not a Moor expert. Most of what I've learned over the past year has been for school projects. I do think it's funny that white people think there being pyramids in Africa and central America is some huge coincidence. What more evidence do you need that Africans were here before Europeans? I mainly delved into the Moors after watching Othello(not by choice) and he was referred to by Iago as "The Moor." If you haven't read/watched Othello, Iago pretended to be his friend but hated the power and accolades he received(in true liberal CAC fashion). Iago was also the "Ashur" of midieval times.
It was funny watching a history show(can't remember the name) a few months ago about the pyramids in Sudan. The host visited one of the villages and said the architecture made him feel like he was in Mexico, not in the middle of the Sudan. When it was the Moors(from the Sudanese region) who gave the Spanish they're architecture who in turn, gave it to the Mexicans.

You teach kids that their ancestry wasn't just "We were slaves." You teach them their entire history. You teach them about all the wonders and mysteries of blackness and you control their education. You control how they learn. And you control the future.

Yeah the slave trade was all of 400 years. In the scheme of roughly 200k years of human existence, that's a tiny portion. There's so much more to what we're capable of and where we can go. Lots of people are trapped in that tiny capsule of time mentally.

Pictures of a few black people? No don't ignore that, but if you're gonna look past whole mosques and millions of writings IN ARABIC, as well as the history told by ARABS (ibn batutta, ibn khaldun) from the era who tell you where they're from (Syria, morocco, etc)
And ZERO west African historians, nothing written in any of the languages that actually come from west Africa, ZERO west African art or cultural effects....

There's no question there were SOME black folks involved, but by and large, that's an Arab movement fam. North Africa.
Many people hear the word AFRICA and equate it to Black.
There's a desert larger than the United States in between North Africa and west Africa.
In between North Africa and Europe is just the Mediterranean Sea. To the east is a path to Arabia. We all know Muhammad (an Arab) came up with Islam and where he came up with it - Arabia. He did it in 700.
The ARABIC language comes from guess where? ARABIA. They made a path with their language, religion and culture all the way west to Europe AND sub Saharan Africa, trading and fighting from 800AD on.

Nah. The North Africans and the Europeans shared a lot of the same diseases because they had similar cultures and had been trading and warring for centuries anyway.

True in some parts but you fail to take into account that Arbaia itself was invaded and conquered by the Arabic Muslims themselves from the 600s onwards. The racial makeup of the region evolved further from that point onwards.

Yeah I didn't mention it cuz.. Well, Arabs dominating the rest of the peninsula they're already on doesn't really count as an invasion. Once they crossed over to the continent and invaded the Berbers and whatever else they called the tribes of indigenous North Africans who were there, that's when shit gets poppin and all this Moor talk comes up.
The term MOOR refers to a culture and not a color anyway, but if we're gonna apply a look or body type to it in the way that we're accustomed to today, that would beat be described by ARAB.
And even that's a culture more than a color but I'm trying to work with words the way we use it.

I agree with you somewhat that their is no need to reach out and claim that bit of history as belonging to all African descendants when there are perfectly good comparative kings such as the Great Mali and Ghana civilizations. It is still good to give all the information so people can be fully informed.
