I heard this song round the first year of college but I could never track down the album when I had some money. Did a search a while ago and couldn't find the album or this song anywhere so if anyone has anything on Donny this would be greatly appreciated

Now I know they aren't BLACK but I've been on this BMP tip lately and in searching came across this :

They already got two songs I love from watching "My Lovely Kim Sam Soon"...they hot.

Since being on the BMP trip I came across this sister, Tania Maria :

The one song I REALLY want to hear isn't on YT :(

The bases are covered like a muthafucka in here. I would throw in Alice Smith, Coultrain, Darien Brockington and Darrius Willrich.

Wait, what?
Please say that you are joking, man.
Now listening to male singers is gay?

Somebody hook me up with a Danny Glover gif
cause I'm gettin' too old for this sh!t man.

Dude listens to nothing but female singers, which is kinda strange, but whatever. His music preference tends to lead to people questioning his sexual preference, on BGOL and probably, even more so, in his real life.

So to counteract that, he flips it by saying listening to any male singer is gay, as if I'm imagining that the singer is singing to me personally instead of me singing along with the singer and enjoying the music for what it is, good music.

His excessive homophobia has caused him to ignore the fact that some people (maybe most) don't close their eyes and pretend that the singer is singing to them personally. Instead, they imagine that they're the singer and they are singing to somebody personal to them. That's what I do most of the time.

So what I don't like singing along with feminine records. Just because a song is performed by a female, it doesn't make it a feminine record. Dudes write songs for female artists too.

But fuck all of that...

Just enjoy the music.

Props to everybody who's posted so far. This thread turned out better than I thought it would. I can't wait until this weekend when I can get a chance to research all these people and listen to these songs. I'm sure there's some gems in here

I gotta add - I checked out BJ the Chicago Kid's last two mixtapes yesterday and the guy's got some nice tracks

This one has kind of a D'Angelo/Bilal vibe to it:
