Front lines hero, soldier, and leader. It's always easy to play Monday morning QB and criticize in hindsight about what those who came before us did to try to move us forward. I always subscribe to they did the best they could under the circumstances and never gave up. For that alone, salute.

If he had been elected, I wonder how he would have been as the first black president rather than Obama.
Part of why I asked was my perception of him growing up was mainly the smear that he was "crooked" but I learned a lot more about his leadership as I got older.
