Warnock vs. Walker debate tonight, will Warnock "Rope that Dope?" The fight for Americana in Savannah.....GA breaks first day early voting record

Both are terrible? Here we go with the thinly veiled both sides BS. You can’t be fucking serious
Cmon bro.
He was as equally terrible in this debate.
Let's use yesterday's football game in GA as an example. On paper the 49ers should've killed the Falcons.
However 49ers got embarrassed and came out looking worse than when they went in.

Warnock is the 49ers in my example. Is he better, yeah. But that particular game/debate, he gave some legitimacy to Walker.

It just is what it is.

And whatever legitimacy that Warnock gives Walker, Walker will - pardon the pun - fumble it away.

georgians get to choose what way to get fucked.

did either of these candidates get this far because of the people wanted them to be or these are the choices they gave you?

You out your god damn mind. Your 49ers analogy is non sense because 7 defensive starters were listed as out on injury

The point is that they were still favored to win and when the rubber met the road, they shit the bed.
How is it even debatable that the debate was close? Warnock should've wiped the floor with dude but he came off just as bad.

You’re lying to continue your right wing trolling . Nobody with any common sense thinks this debate was even close. Walker refused to even show up to the second one for a reason. Just come out the Republikkklan closet already

I literally called both of them Terrible in my first post. I don't have a dog in this fight breh.
I think people get clouded in their observations.

As a candidate is Warnock better? Yeah probably. In THIS DEBATE he got a draw at best.

As someone who is neutral, I'm very qualified to give an accurate fair and balanced review and critique on this and all political matters.

Georgia breaks first-day early voting record, nearly doubles figure from last midterms

A line of early voters file down the hall as early voting begins for the midterm elections at the Citizens Service Center in Columbus, Georgia, October 17, 2022.

KEY POINTS

  • Turnout from Georgia’s first day of early voting set a new state record for a midterm election, state election officials said.
  • More than 131,000 Georgia voters cast ballots since early voting began Monday, according to the office of Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger.
  • The new early-voting data in Georgia comes three weeks before Election Day, with high-profile candidates Raphael Warnock, Herschel Walker, Brian Kemp, Stacey Abrams and Marjorie Taylor Greene on the ballot.
Turnout from Georgia’s first day of early voting set a new state record for a midterm election, nearly doubling the figure from the same time period in the previous midterms, state election officials said Tuesday.

More than 131,000 Georgia voters cast ballots since early voting began Monday, according to the office of Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger. The figure represents an 85% boost over the 2018 midterms, when nearly 71,000 early votes were cast on Day One, the office said.

Georgia’s latest tally is also nearly as large as the state’s first day of early voting in the 2020 presidential election — 136,739 in that contest versus 131,318 in the current cycle, Raffensperger’s office said. Turnout tends to be much higher when the presidency is on the ballot.

Absentee ballots cast Monday totaled 11,759, bringing Georgia’s total turnout so far to 143,077, the office said.

The new early-voting data in Georgia, which corresponds with a similar surge in turnout during the primary season, comes three weeks before the Nov. 8 midterms when the balance of power in Congress and key state-level posts will be decided.

Georgia is host to some of the nation’s most-watched elections. A high-profile Senate race between Democratic incumbent Sen. Raphael Warnock and Republican Herschel Walker, for instance, has emerged as one of the most competitive — and scandalous — contests in the nation.

Just one of a handful of key races could determine which party controls the Senate. The chamber is split 50-50 between the two parties, with Democratic Vice President Kamala Harris holding the tie-breaking vote.

Democratic gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams, meanwhile, is again challenging GOP Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp, who is leading in the polls. Abrams’ get-out-the-vote efforts in 2020 have been credited with helping President Joe Biden carry the purple state over former President Donald Trump.

Raffensperger, a Republican who drew Trump’s ire for challenging the ex-president’s false claims that the 2020 election was unfairly rigged against him, is also running for reelection.

Warnock needed to be more aggressive. You can't have someone accusing you of shit, and you not respond to it. Walker is an easy target because he is everything Republicans supposedly stood against, and ask him to elaborate on all the talking points he keeps saying. It's so fucking easy to debate republicans, but these politicians must have some behind the scenes agreement not to go too hard. Ask him one question. What are republican values? Don't let him deflect, and if he does, literally call out "deflection". As he is trying to rattle off the buzzwords, interrupt him with all the things he's done that are against the values.

I'm going to early vote on this Thursday!!...

I'd do an ad with video showing him handing them out. Ask viewers if they got one, and then tell them he had the same amount of authority conferred upon him as they did when they got theirs. SMH.

Herschel Walker Is Now Constantly Showing People His Fake Police Badge

Walker, a Republican, is now showing the badge, one of at least two he has from Georgia sheriffs, in TV interviews. He plans to tout it in a video cut for social media with Johnson County Sheriff Greg Rowland, who gave him the badge. And Walker’s campaign told NBC News that it has ordered 1,000 imitation plastic law enforcement badges that say “I’m with Herschel” as a fundraising tool.

I couldn't be less surprised by this if I tried. This is, surprisingly enough, why items as props were probably banned from this debate, and probably are in others, too.

Now instead of focusing on valid issues or even the valid part of this issue, Republicans can just rally around a false symbol because "That's showin' 'em!" Facts don't matter if you're sticking it to the Dems.... I guess.

Did he show up with a trunk of props? I guess you need theatrics when you really don't have anything of value to say.

A good two thirds or more of the Republican party probably have a trunk of props cause they don't have anything of value to say.... nothing but name calling, overtalking, talking points and the ability to not be able to turn their fucking mouths off even if they were at a debate and were being shot in a drive-by

Is this a joke? Neutral would mean you point to the good & bad of both relevant parties. Are you impartial in your posts? If someone was to look at your post history, there should be a fair balance in positive & negative thoughts (really tweets from you) on republicans & Democrats?

I could probably look at the last 10 political posts from you & there would be 9.5 negative posts about Democrats & 0.5 layup post that points to a huge negative about a republican but somehow ends in a "both sides" argument.

Just admit you're a republican already. Hiding behind this, "I post more negative about Democrats because most people here fall into that category. And they're just as bad as republicans, so I have to call them out on their BS."

It's transparent as hell & no one here is stupid enough to believe you're anything but a republican shill here to cause descension & confusion.

When I think of props what came to mind were the GOP candidates that always pulled out their pocket constitutions. I think it's anything other than pen and paper to take notes, if that is allowed.

I'm pretty sure this is correct. A "prop" in this case would be any demonstrative item. I assume that the idea is that the debate should be about using your words and/or facts, and that allowing items to be brandished or put on display detracts from that.
