VIDEO: Selfie-taking rat startles man who passed out at Brooklyn subway stop
An out-of-town visitor and his friend told FOX61 they were waiting for a train at the President Street station in the Crown Heights section of Brooklyn when they saw man passed out, lying down on the subway platform. They saw a rat climb onto a man's sweater, startling the poor straphanger who jumped in horror and dropped his cellphone in the process.
Before his freak out, somehow, his cellphone took a picture of the rat and woke up the subway rider because of the flash.

Less than a month later, an epic brawl between a rat and pigeon for New York City unofficial mascot also became widely popular.
