Didn't realize that she filed for divorce in July of 2023. Absurd that she's gone through this for stretching the truth to access 401K funds to invest in property. Her own 401K funds, that is. But we all know what the motivation for this was. :smh:

Don't know the legality behind it all but was reading all she may get is a violation of her code of conduct and won't even lose her license to practice or won't be censured by the bar.

Really think this is all BS by the corruption in the city. Someone badly wanted her out of office. This is the worse thing they could find and making it all out to be more than what it us. Sensationalizing what I'm sure a few hundred thousand others probably have done as well during Covid.

Look at this and tell me if you think this is a "which hunt" or "politically motivated". They became celebrities instead of focusing on the cities issue. Her soft on crime approach has made Baltimore a more dangerous place to live.:(

All this is bull compared to people who do real crimes. She borrowed money from her own retirement acct. Falsifying what it was for. Oh my what a criminal.

Then she transferred money to HER husband to jump on a mortgage in time and lied about living at the vacation home for 70 days.

She was the Baltimore City State's Attorney. She has/had the power to bring charges on people who breaks the law. When you're in a position of authority and break the law you need to be held accountable. People who were doing real crime in the Baltimore, she refused to bring charges. Now I see the reason why.:rolleyes:

I’m not gonna speak on this anymore. I wish her and her family the best. She will be likely be disbarred, and quickly. Ravenell met a similar outcome.

I am not from there, just have friends who live there.

If the majority of this happened during Covid that's one thing compared to if this all happened as far as a rise in crime prior.

All these major cities, including NY, Cali, Illinois and so on, crimes elevated during Covid which is why many left.

Aside from crimes rising, then have her removed from office. Whatever the process is, voting her out or whatever it is.

But to get granular in her life and find nothing but perjury on her own retirement acct sounds like something the insurance company would normally pursue. Not that they would gaslight people and media to highlight this like it's the case of the century.

Was there damage or injury to a person?
That is what entails crime.

The same energy needs to be looked into by many of the other people in office mainly in DC.

People who have a yearly salary of $150k and net worth $100m.

I agree, she was definitely targeted. After she tried holding the police accountable, not only did BPD effectively go on strike for years, but the Feds had her under a microscope. She didn't do herself any favors by taking business/legal advice from fucking Clubhouse real estate gurus. As an attorney, not to mention one of the head law enforcement officers in Baltimore, she should have known better than to think starting an LLC that she publicly stated in not operational and then claiming Covid hardship on that non-operating business to withdraw from her 401K without penalties was going to fly. She would have been better off paying the penalties to take out a loan against her retirement, the low interest rate she locked in should have helped split the difference. Now, her career is over, legacy tarnished, and she's facing jailtime. Sucks to see it.

The majority of people get in to politics, not for the benefit of their constituents, but to increase their on wealth. Look at the overall percentages some of the members get from just being elected.

LMAO No I never did the hand check. Grown azz men taking pictures of their hands as if it matters. Clarence Thomas has two black hands. You see how well that's working out. Now my question to you...If you're on trial and you know dam well you're innocent would you take the stand in your defense? She declined to do so, and the prosecutor made sure the jury know this. She requested to have the trial to be moved to a different venue, because she felt she could get a fair trial in Baltimore County. Her marriage was over for a while they waited hoping to make the appearance that everything was going well. Now we all know it was all a lie.

The relevance is that it was to act as if everything is okay, "nothing to see here folks, we good". It's not about hurting me. It's about the city of Baltimore and the people she supposed to support. Look at the difference between Atlanta crime rate (down 20% over the last two years), when you have a DA who's holding people accountable, and Baltimore who has a "catch and release policy. Doing something dumb is "swimming in the community pool after hours" Lying to the Feds is criminal. She felt that his (her husband) role in trying trying to not only use his position, but hers as well to bring several streams of income, and wealth illegally was part of her downfall. She was still working during the pandemic, making 250K a year, unlike others in her office who were furloughed. Bruh look at ALL the evidence, just don't look at what sounds nice to you. Politicians are always being investigated, and you have to realize for everyone who is happy to see you succeed, there are a million out they waiting for you to fail. The key is don't make it easy for your "haters".
