I don’t agree with this here. Of Jones last four opponents the only one I can’t see reclaiming top spot is Gustafson.

Smith lost by decision and is now rising in the ranks. Santos gave a tough fight on a bum leg and Reyes arguably beat Jones.

If Reyes had a good showing he would’ve been right there. Think this is now his second knockout in a row.

Although Chazka had a great knockout, I wasn’t overly impressed by anything but his chin. He also pushed the wrestling early.

Not sure I’ve seen Santos since the Jones fight but his leg was seriously messed up.

Cant remember when Jones last really good fight was and one of these guys, mainly Santos could catch him slipping.

Neither of them I think could beat a focused Jones if hecomes back down

I've seen Santos since then and he is a shell of himself. Not sure he will be much of a factor anymore. The damage he took in the Jones fight may have ended his run..

Jones is a great fighter but Reyes had his number when they fought. Reyes' light appears to have dimmed as well and I agree that if Jones came back down, he wouldn't have a hard time winning either fight.

Hopefully we'll get Jones vs Ngannou or Adesanya at some point. Jones is asking for too much though so we shall see.

That was a brutal lineup of knockouts. He lost 6 of his last 7 fights by KO and none of them were pretty. I mean he got Knocked The Fuck Out! Hell, even once Roy Jones Jr got touched he wasn’t the same anymore. That chin got cleaned a few times. Once you lose that part of yourself in the cage/ring it’s hard to gain that back.

Yup - good on him. Have seen him fight a number of more athletic people. He doesn’t embarass himself. He competes and is hard-nosed. The wrong kind of person to mess with on the street. He will throw hands when challenged!
