Really hope the main event goes at least 3 - 5 full rounds.
If it ends in the first 2 rounds - Chimaev.
3rd round = anyone's.
Winner in the 4th or 5th round = Du Plessis.

Agreed. Been a fan of MVP's since the Bellator days. Wish he'd come over to the UFC sooner in his career as he's 38yo now.
Really hope the main event is chaotic. Chimaev sets such a fast pace. Du Plessis is unorthodox in his technique(s), but it works for him. Both guys are tough / durable as fuck. As the Morning Kombat / MMA Fighting guys have been saying ... they hope it's a crazy fight. Something along the lines of the Henderson - Shogun Rua fight from late-2011. Both fighters leaving it all out there and having their moments respectively.

As I've referenced on BGOL a few times over the years ... a perfect example would be Mark Hominick in the early-2010s. Great career outside of the UFC in the WEC and other small organizations. Went into his title fight with Jose Aldo in 2011 with a 20-8 record and went the full 25 minutes with one of the GOATs of the sport. Lost. Learned alot about him in defeat. His next fight ... lost by KO to Korean Zombie in 7 seconds. Didn't learn anything about Zombie or him in that fight as it was over before it started. Hominick then went on to lose his final 2 fights to lesser known guys (Yagin and Garza) in the UFC; both defeats by decision. Thing is ... even in decision losses, you at least got to see him compete and it wasn't over immediately.

I can see it especially as a TKO. I’m curious to see how DDP defends the wrestling, I think DDP is going to be fine. The X factor is his power. Khamzat’s chin is suspect, but the problem is that only Gilbert Burns has found it. If DDP finds that chin its lights out.

He hit Strickland with everything who got tkoed by One punch from Poatan. Chimaev has s stronger chin than Strickland so how the hell you figure Dricus ends it by stoppage? What am I missing? Not saying he wont win... But hes not koing Khamzat
