Chimaev's pressure and relentlessness (is that a word?) must be a mofo to deal with.

Even Usman was able to get up. Had DDP kept it standing for 1 full round he knocks him out.
DDP litrerally had nothing for Khamzat’s wrestling and got put in the crucifix in 4 out of 5 rounds. Khamzat didn’t do much damage in the crucifix but that’s pure dominance.
Even more impressive re: Usman when you realize just how worn down his knees are from years of collegiate wrestling and MMA training. You'd think DDP doesn't have that kind of wear and tear on his frame having not competed in higher level wrestling in the U.S.
With Khamzat ... I wonder if the strategy / mindset was that of don't burn yourself out and allow DDP back into the fight? Just control / dominate but conserve the gas tank.
Man, I wish we talked beforehand. DDP never fought a wrestler before Chimaev. He had a puncher's chance in that fight. He will lose a rematch too.
Not to worry. Didn't bet on the card, and haven't seen the main card yet (gonna watch over breakfast in the AM).
