Anybody watching? Just finished the 2nd half and the way it ended? Hopefully we'll get a second season. If you haven't seen it yet, what to expect? An interesting/engaging series about a girl who got forced into the life of a stripper due to a series of circumstances and a rich family at odds at each other over their father's wealth, whose will stipulates that none will get their piece of the wealth if anyone dies of mysterious circumstances.
The good?
Storyline - like power, has some unbelievable events but still makes for entertaining tv.
The conflicts - a lot goes left to keep your interest.
The bad?
Male strippers/gay shit - In Tyler Perry fashion of course there's gay shit in there that I usually just skip over. The strip cub has both men and women strippers in there. Thankfully it's not a large part of the story.
The acting - The acting from a lot of the cast felt just passable, and for some barely. But Crystle Stewart, Richard Lawson, Debbi Morgan, and Ricco Ross delivered greatly.
Seeing the main (Kimmie) go through the hurdles and also the backstabbing drama between the families is entertaining. Check it out if you haven't, just expect a show that's well shot but semi-believable in some aspects like Power.

that women love to watch. but it always on some negative fuck black men stereotypical shit. this is why i stopped supportinga lot of his work. We all know that Black men have been portrayed as gangsters, thugs, down low, incompetent, sex driven or maniacally possessed socio/psychopaths. where are the movies that show us as the heroes, saviors, exceptional leaders, creative engineers and social saviors and problem solvers.
