Enjoyed the premiere as well.
The slow burn feel has a nice, deliberate pace to it.
I liked that exchange with the girl when he says to her to "read the book" if things go awry at the house.

Anthology format like Fargo.
Seasons 1 and 3 were very well-received. Season 2 not so much.
Season 4 currently is off to a good start. Shorter season at only 6 - 8 eps.
